Anniversary Spring / Summer Events May Maker’s Fair 2020 Saturday 16 May, 10am – 4pm Celebrating 40 years of Queens Park Arts Centre, this special event features a wide selection of Celebrating 40 Years of Queens Park Arts Centre handmade items to view and buy, live music, dance and theatre, plus hot and cold food 2020 marks 40 years since Queens Park Arts Centre opened its doors as the cultural and creative hub of Aylesbury Vale. Town Centre Events When core funding was significantly reduced in the late 1990s a campaign began to secure the Centre’s future. Creative Opportunities Facilities WanderHouse The WanderHouse is Queens Park Arts Centre’s flagship community outreach project initially funded by the Arts Council of England. Led by interdisciplinary artist Pippa North, the WanderHouse aims to inspire young artists by giving them access to high-quality tailor-made arts and crafts experiences.
