Conway FFA Floriculture Career Development Event Team 2nd in State Please congratulate these students if you see them! Team members included Olivia Lewis, Jahsalyn Doyle, Courtney Hearl, and Sydney Livingston. Sydney was also the 3rd highest individual in the competition. The Floriculture Career Development Event (CDE) requires students to identify plants, judge flower arrangements and solve problems. Participants also demonstrate skills in flower arranging, propagation and the preparation of floral and foliage products for sale. There are over 125 FFA Chapters in SC and our Conway FFA members continue to excel on the state level year after year. This takes a tremendous amount of time and effort by our students. They are truly living out the FFA motto: Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, and Living to Serve We will have 6 more teams and individuals compete in various events between now and June. Our students work hard all year long! 12
