under Financial Assistance. Consult the detailed

requirements necessary to be eligible for an award.
PLEASE REMEMBER to be eligible to receive any
additional tuition assistance from our parishes,
families must have applied for the Spalding
Scholarship from the Diocese of Peoria.
TO BE ELIGIBLE to receive tuition assistance from
our parishes, families must demonstrate:
1. that they have applied for the Spalding
Scholarship from the Diocese of Peoria (regardless
of any scholarship award).
2. financial need by submitting the appropriate
disclosure forms available from the Diocesan Office
of Catholic Schools.
3. regular, active and committed participation in the
life of our parish. A letter describing a family’s
parish activity should be submitted along with a
letter verifying parish involvement from a parish
leader (priest, deacon, religious, lay trustee).
4. you must be registered at one of our four
churches and envelopes should be placed in the
collection basket each weekend, even if you cannot
make a monetary contribution.
Easter comes on Sunday, April 4. As we prepare for
that glorious day, there is one thing we need to do:

“¡Lázaro, sal de allí!” Y salió el muerto, atados con vendas las manos y los pies, y la cara envuelta en
un sudario” (Jn 11; 43)
Querida familia, la frase del Evangelio que elijo para reflexionar esta semana es: “¡Lázaro, sal de allí!” Y salió el
muerto, atados con vendas las manos y los pies, y la cara envuelta en un sudario” . Hoy Jesús dice: “Lázaro, sal
de ahí”, es una orden a “un muerto” y Lázaro, amigo de Jesús– sale de la tumba caminando. ¡Que loco!. Pero
nos estamos enfrentando a la realidad de la Voluntad de Dios que quiere que todos sus hijos se salven. Recor-
demos que Lázaro era amigo de Jesús y junto con sus hermanas (Marta y María) compartían mucho y la casa de
ellos era un lugar para Jesús. Es por eso que hoy el mismo Jesús lloró cuando sabe de la muerte de Lázaro, claro, era su amigo. Hoy
en la resurrección de Lázaro vemos la anticipación de nuestra Vida Eterna, lo que nuestro Padre del cielo a soñado para nosotros y
lo seguirá haciendo porque quiere que todos nos salvemos, pero no lo puede hacer sin nosotros. Nos ama, pero no nos salvará sin
nosotros. Hoy el “sal de allí” debe ser parte de la invitación de Dios para salir de la esclavitud de la muerte, la muerte que nos lleva
al abismo de nuestras vidas en medio de tanta confusión. El “Sal de allí” debe ser para cada uno un imperativo que Jesús nos hace
para volver a tener nuestro centro. Hoy en el Evangelio Jesús llora, llora porque su amigo había pasado por la muerte y Jesús que lo
amaba con todo su corazón deja correr las lagrimas por su rostro, aun sabiendo que lo resucitaría. Jesús llora por nosotros cada vez
que nos alejamos de Él. Sufre nuestra frialdad a la entrega que Él hizo por nosotros, y el grito que el nos hace: “Sal de allí”, se trans-
forma en vacío si no respondemos a su llamado. Dios siempre quiso que nosotros respondamos a Él, no porque el necesite de nues-
tra respuesta, si no porque es tanto el amor que el tiene por nosotros que no puede dejar de manifestar, en lagrimas, nuestra frial-
dad para con su regalo. ¿Qué podemos hacer?, ¿Cómo devolverle a Dios todo lo que nos regala?, simplemente estando con El, bus-
cando un momento para estar es su presencia Eucarística, estando en gracia, luchando día a día para conservar mi Fe y solo deján-

En este Evangelio una de las tentaciones es pensar que Jesús llega tarde, pero ¿Jesús llega tarde?, el Evangelio dice que ya habían
pasado cuatro días de la muerte de Lázaro. ¿Jesús no era tan amigo de Lázaro como para dejarlo morir?, lo cierto es que “Dios
jamás llega tarde”, si algo sucede es porque Dios lo permite, muchas veces no querido directamente Dios deja que sucedan algunas
cosas, para que luego se manifieste su poder sobre lo sucedido. Aquí estamos frente al poder de Dios que ordena todo de una forma
increíble, muchas veces, incomprensible para nosotros, pero que son parte del camino providencial de Dios y suceden para Gloria de
El. Aquí está la clave. Los tiempos de Dios son increíbles y el nunca llega tarde, jamás llega tarde pero responderá en el momento
oportuno, cuando nosotros clamemos, El responderá. si nosotros no clamamos, Dios no responderá, este es el gran desafío al cual
nos enfrentamos día a día. Tenemos que clamar a Dios y dejar que el nos resucite como a Lázaro de todas las resistencias que pone-
mos a los brazos que nos resucitan. Y recordemos, Dios jamás llega tarde, el responde en el momento justo y en un tiempo excelen-
te para nosotros.

En aquel tiempo, Marta y María, las dos hermanas de Lázaro, le mandaron decir a Jesús: “Señor, el amigo a quien tanto quieres está
enfermo”. Al oír esto, Jesús dijo: “Esta enfermedad no acabará en la muerte, sino que servirá para la gloria de Dios, para que el Hijo
de Dios sea glorificado por ella”.
Jesús amaba a Marta, a su hermana y a Lázaro. Sin embargo, cuando se enteró de que Lázaro estaba enfermo, se detuvo dos días
más en el lugar en que se hallaba. Después dijo a su discípulos: “Vayamos otra vez a Judea”.
Cuando llegó Jesús, Lázaro llevaba ya cuatro días en el sepulcro. Apenas oyó Marta que Jesús llegaba, salió a su encuentro; pero
María se quedó en casa. Le dijo Marta a Jesús: “Señor, si hubieras estado aquí, no habría muerto mi hermano. Pero aun ahora estoy
segura de que Dios te concederá cuanto le pidas”.
Jesús le dijo: “Tu hermano resucitará”. Marta respondió: “Ya sé que resucitará en la resurrección del último día”. Jesús le dijo: “Yo
soy la resurrección y la vida. El que cree en mí, aunque haya muerto, vivirá; y todo aquel que está vivo y cree en mí, no morirá para
siempre. ¿Crees tú esto?” Ella le contestó: “Sí, Señor. Creo firmemente que tú eres el Mesías, el Hijo de Dios, el que tenía que venir al
mundo”.
Jesús se conmovió hasta lo más hondo y preguntó: “¿Dónde lo han puesto?” Le contestaron: “Ven, Señor, y lo verás”. Jesús se puso a
llorar y los judíos comentaban: “De veras ¡cuánto lo amaba!” Algunos decían: “¿No podía éste, que abrió los ojos al ciego de naci-
miento, hacer que Lázaro no muriera?”
Jesús, profundamente conmovido todavía, se detuvo ante el sepulcro, que era una cueva, sellada con una losa. Entonces dijo Jesús:
“Quiten la losa”. Pero Marta, la hermana del que había muerto, le replicó: “Señor, ya huele mal, porque lleva cuatro días”. Le dijo
Jesús: “¿No te he dicho que si crees, verás la gloria de Dios?” Entonces quitaron la piedra.
Jesús levantó los ojos a lo alto y dijo: “Padre, te doy gracias porque me has escuchado. Yo ya sabía que tú siempre me escuchas;
pero lo he dicho a causa de esta muchedumbre que me rodea, para que crean que tú me has enviado”. Luego gritó con voz potente:
“¡Lázaro, sal de allí!” Y salió el muerto, atados con vendas las manos y los pies, y la cara envuelta en un sudario. Jesús les dijo:
“Desátenlo, para que pueda andar”.
Muchos de los judíos que habían ido a casa de Marta y María, al ver lo que había hecho Jesús, creyeron en él.

Felicidades a todos los chicos que están recibiendo sus sacramentos! La Comunidad de Heart of Proria quiere agradecer a Beatriz
Nava por su dedicación incansable como coordinadora del programa de Catequesis y a los papás que confían sus hijos para los
sacramentos.
Los siguientes chicos inciaron su proceso en Septiembre del 2019. Deberían haber hecho su Confirmación en Abril de 2020 pero
por causa de la pandemia tuvieron que esperar hasta este año. 6 de este grupo también recibieron su primera comunión.
Gustavo Cuahuizo, Gustavo Garcia, Seiry Cardenas, Jaciver Gutierrez, Jesus Avalos, Sebastian Ezequiel
Esteban Hernandez, Cristal Garcia, Joanna Camacho, Jose Camacho, Jorge Camacho.
Los siguientes chicos también comenzaron su proceso en Septiembre del 2019. El grupo primero son los chicos que no hicieron
sus sacramentos cuando les tocaba. El primer grupo son edades de 15 a 18.
Moises Delgado, Jose Sanchez, Claudia Sanchez, Arnoldo Contreras, Diego Uribe, Diego Araiza, Diego Sebastian, Mariela
Sebastian, Maoly Ochoa.
Estos chicos tambien comenzaron su proceso en Septiembre del 2019. El grupo primero son los chicos que no hicieron sus
sacramentos cuando les tocaba. El primer grupo son edades de 15 a 18.

Bienvenido Padre Fabian!!!
Se encuentra en medio se nosotros el padre Fabián Alberto Cabarcas Rúa,
quien llega procedente de Colombia. Nacido en la ciudad de Barranquilla en
el hogar conformado por don Alberto y doña Sabid, como el primero de
cuatro hijos. Estudio la básica primaria con los hermanos de la Salle y
termina la secundaria con los Salesianos.
Ingresa a la Comunidad Salesiana y recibe allí su ordenación sacerdotal.
Es licenciado en Filosofía Pura y en Teología y ciencia de la educación
Religiosa.
Ha prestado su servicio ministerial como coordinador de pastoral en
distintos colegios Salesianos en varios ciudades de Colombia y tiene una
experiencia Parroquial de once años en tres parroquias.
Dentro de sus hobbies están la música, canta y toca algo de guitarra,
