 The passing on of information available to you to a stand construction company that you may
 have commissioned is not included in our scope of services and may lead to additional costs
                                  that you may be charged.

The ordered standard exhibition stands of the booth construction partner company cubicworx will be finished
on Tuesday, 25 August 2021 at 02.00 p.m. and can be obtained by the exhibitors. We ask for your understand-
ing that not all of the rental furniture ordered may be available on the exhibition stands at this time. The rental
furniture will be made available as soon as possible.
All decoration work can be started by the exhibiting companies from 02.00 p.m. on 24 August 2021 and should
be completed by midnight.
The dismantling of the exhibition stands begins at the earliest on Friday, 27 August 2021, at 02.00 p.m. and
must be completed by midnight at the latest.

3.      „Exhibitors' evening"
On Wednesday evening of the three-day symposium, exhibitors will have the opportunity to leave their exhibi-
tion stands open with catering on a voluntary basis from the official end of 06.00 p.m. until 10.00 p.m.
From an organisational point of view, it has been ensured that it is possible to keep the exhibition stands "open",
including catering by MARITIM Gastronomy.
We will inform you about the extended opening hours of the trade exhibition on Wednesday, 25 August 2021
until 10.00 p.m. with the publication of the brochure "Invitation to participate with provisional programme" and
at the same time on www.kontec-symposium.de. A clear reference to the "Exhibitors' Evening" will of course
also be included in the programme brochure.
At the same time we kindly ask you to note that this is not an official evening organized by the KONTEC event
direction. The use of the possibility of keeping the exhibition stands open with catering on Wednesday, 25
August 2021 until 10.00 p.m. is at the discretion and the organisation (e.g. catering) and implementation is the
responsibility of the respective exhibiting companies.
      As the evening officially ends at 10:00 p.m., guests and exhibitors are requested to leave the ICD by
       10:30 p.m. at the latest.

(C) LEASING OF EXHIBITION SPACE
1.       Exhibition space
The exhibition takes place in halls 1 to 5 with restaurant and in the foyer of the MARITIM ICD International
Congress Center Dresden.

There are different stand areas available starting from 9 m2 size and smart exhibition areas for KONTEC lights.
For details, please refer to the attached information and the preliminary site plan. After consultation, various
individual grids can be combined to create any stand size.
The stands for break refreshments will be integrated into the exhibition.
Please note that the delivered parcels are stored temporarily at the goods delivery zone and must be trans-
ported to the stand by your stand supervisor / stand constructor independently. The delivery / collection can
usually take place on weekdays between 08:00 a.m. and 06:00 p.m.. The ICD and the organizer do not accept
any deliveries and assume no liability for deliveries: any delivery that takes place without the logistics partner
is at your own risk.

2.     Leasing and pricing of exhibition space
Includes leasing and provision of an exhibition space:
               - Reservation and supply of the rented space*
               - once 3 kW (light and cooling current)**
               - Daily cleaning and final cleaning of the hall floor
               - General guarding of the exhibition room during the night
The price for the reservation and preparation of the leased space is
                                                  EUR 495,- per sqm plus VAT***
Exhibits or displays are to be exhibited exclusively in the rented area. In case of non-compliance atm GmbH
reserves the right to charge the exhibitor accordingly.
They are obliged to protect the soil in any case. This can be done by laying a carpet. We recommend that you
always entrust the stand construction company commissioned by us with any laying work via the online order-
ing portal http://kontec.cubicworx-congress.de. Otherwise, the stand construction company commissioned by
you must be informed.
*Ports for water, gas or compressed air cannot be provided.
**For the total rented area. Additional power requirements, e.g. for exhibits or similar, stand cleaning, etc., can be ordered from cubicworx,
the stand construction company commissioned by us.
***The value added tax valid at the time of invoicing applies in each case.

3.     Stand construction, additional equipment and prints
Stand construction, additional equipment, prints are available from our stand constructor cubicworx GmbH.
Orders can be submitted online at http://kontec.cubicworx-congress.de. Please register there to get access to
the webshop.

b. Front panel labeling
Front panel lettering, e.g. with the logo of your company, can be selected when ordering a stand in the cubic-
worx online booking system.
     c. Individual stand design and wishes
Our stand construction company will be happy to submit individual offers for design stands according to your
wishes. Please contact the cubicworx team kongress@cubicworx.de, phone +49.351.40752255.
     d. System booths and basic equipment
The offered system booths and all equipment are property of the booth construction company commissioned
by us and will be loaned to the exhibiting companies for the duration of the event KONTEC 2021.
Please note that the partition walls must not be damaged by drilling, nails, drawing pins or similar. Adhesive
residues must be removed without residue after the end of the event. If adhesive residues are still left on the
wall surfaces, we will charge a cleaning fee of 36.00 €/h net. If the adhesive residues cannot be removed, we
will charge a replacement flat rate of 80.00 € net for the damaged wall surface. The organizer (Kontec GmbH)
and/or event organization (atm GmbH) are not liable for any damage to the exhibition construction material
provided on loan.
     e. Note on rear and side panels
In case you are planning an open stand, please note that side or rear panels may still have to be ordered.
In the interest of all exhibitors, we would like to prevent the rear wall of mobile exhibition stands from being
uncovered. It should be possible for all exhibitors to present their stand in the best possible way.
You are welcome to select wall areas individually in the online ordering portal http://kontec.cubicworx-con-
gress.de.
The costs will be borne by the exhibiting company. The stand construction company commissioned by us will
draw your attention to this during the planning stage, possibly also after your order has been placed and
feasibility checked.
     f.    Submission of stand sketches
If you do not book a stand package through cubicworx, please send a stand sketch of your planned exhibition
stand to Kristin Kremer kristin@cubicworx.de by 09.07.2021. The stand sketch must show the arrangement,
equipment and above all the construction heights.
The stand sketch (top view of the stand area including alignment) must contain the following points:
           –   Dimensioning the suspension points
           –   Number of suspension points
           –   Weight of the overall construction
           –   Weight per point
           –   Type of suspension (e.g. traverse, banner)
           –   Height
           –   neighbouring stands incl. stand number
           –   Drawing of the aisles

We also need a view of your exhibition stand.
  On the basis of the aforementioned documents we will obtain a building permit for your exhibition stand
   from MARITIM & ICD. Otherwise, a smooth construction cannot be guaranteed.

4.        Stand personnel based on the size of the exhibition stand
Regulation on the limited number of free KONTEC - participation for booth personnel depending on the size of
the booth:
KONTEC will take place in the "MARITIM Hotel & International Congress Center Dresden" with its individual
component’s symposium, poster sessions and exhibition. This is the reason why access to the exhibition is

only possible for participants from exhibiting companies after payment of the symposium fee. A reduced par-
ticipation fee or free participation for exhibitors is generally not offered.
To enable exhibiting companies to fill their exhibition stands with an appropriate number of stand personnel at
no additional cost, a certain number of people - depending on the size of the individual exhibition stands -
have free access to the entire event as "stand personnel".
Please note that also for "stand personnel" a formal registration at the ticket portal for participation at KONTEC
has to be submitted to ensure registration and thus preparation of the conference documents incl. name badge.
Registration is free of charge by using one or more activation codes. This code will be communicated to you
by the event organization (atm GmbH).
The following list shows the number of the respective booth personnel, who can participate in KONTEC free of
charge depending on booth size:

5.   Terms of payment

Formal written order
until 30.05.2021:                40% after order placement, immediately after receipt of invoice
                                 60% after completion of the preparations for the trade fair, immediately after
                                 receipt of invoice (approx. 3 months before the event)
Formal written order
after 30.05.2021:                100% after order placement, immediately after receipt of invoice
Additional services:             100% after order placement, immediately after receipt of invoice
Marketing/Sponsoring:            100% after order placement, immediately after receipt of invoice
Orders for exhibition space must be made in writing using the attached order form.

6.   Cancellation
Due to the extensive work involved in preparing and organising the event, the registration for the exhibition
can only be cancelled by paying the following cancellation fees:
In case of cancellation until 30.05.2021, the payment to be made in the amount of 40% will be charged as
cancellation fee.
For cancellations after 30.05.2021, the entire order value will be invoiced and must be paid by the ordering
company in accordance with our terms of payment.

7.   Power supply in the trade exhibition
All areas have a 3 kW power connection included. Additional power supplies can be ordered via the online
ordering portal http://kontec.cubicworx-congress.de.

8.   Floor loading
Exhibition structures must not exceed a surface load of 500 kg/m². The exhibition plans with the marked escape
routes must be strictly adhered to.
Please note that due to local conditions, large and heavy exhibits cannot be exhibited. For details, please refer
to the attached overview "Floor loads in the ICD" in the appendix.

9.   Suspension
All suspensions from the ceiling as part of stand construction at the Maritim Hotel & International Congress
Center Dresden may only be carried out by Brähler ICS Konferenztechnik.

10. Requirements to protect the floor and other damage
Damage of any kind, especially to floors (carpet, stone and marble floors, stages and dance floors) is strictly
prohibited. Care must be taken to ensure that no type of carpet adhesive is used to prevent damage to the ICD
floor covering. In order to prevent carpet from slipping, the use of so-called laying grids is recommended.
The exhibitor is liable for damages caused by the exhibitor or other persons commissioned by the exhibitor
during trade fairs and exhibitions.

11. Special features of the ICD on site
Please note the following special features in the area of the trade exhibition. Among other things, there are
different ceiling heights at the transitions between two halls as well as construction height limitations under the
control room bridges. There are also fixed columns in some areas of the stand areas. The emergency exits are
located to the window front on the Elbe side. This may be necessary for the planning of your stand design and
can be seen in the stand plan.
Construction height limitation under the control room bridges: Control room bridge 1 (between hall 3 and hall
4): control room bridge 1 starts at a height of 2.70 m - maximum construction height under control room bridge
1 is 2.50 m and control room bridge 2 (hall 1): control room bridge 2 starts at a height of 4.85 m - maximum
construction height under control room bridge 2 is 4.00 m.
For this reason, the coordination of your stand construction projects with the obtaining of a corresponding
building permit by MARITIM & ICD on the basis of your stand sketch with details of the planned construction
heights, as requested in point "f Submitting stand sketches", is an indispensable basic requirement for smooth
exhibition planning.

12. Exhibition Regulations / Liability
The offered system stands (or comparable system) and basic equipment are the property of the stand con-
struction company commissioned by us and will be lent to the exhibiting companies by KONTEC for the dura-
tion of the event. The objects on loan are to be handled with care, the use of completely removable adhesives,
e.g. for attaching posters, is recommended to avoid damage to the stand walls. The organizer (Kontec GmbH)
and/or the event organizer (atm GmbH) shall not be liable for any damage to the exhibition construction material
provided on loan.
The ICD is equipped with a parquet floor that must not be damaged, exhibition stands must therefore be set
up on carpet. During the construction and dismantling of the exhibition, exhibitors will be able to access the
exhibition area through the glass doors from the forecourt and other access routes. The glass doors and walls
must be handled with care and damage must be avoided. The organizer (Kontec GmbH) and/or event organ-
ization (atm GmbH) shall not be liable for damage to or loss of ICD equipment.
Exhibitors are requested to take care of their own stand equipment, especially valuable exhibits or appliances.
The organizer (Kontec GmbH) and/or event organization (atm GmbH) assume no liability for lost items. For the
duration of the event, the exhibition, but not the individual exhibition stands, will be guarded. The organizer
(Kontec GmbH) and/or the event organizer (atm GmbH) shall not be liable for loss of or damage to furnishings
or exhibits brought along by the exhibiting companies.
In addition, the exhibition regulations are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and the
enclosed "Hall Use Regulations of the MARITIM Hotel and International Congress Center Dresden" for exhibi-
tions in the currently valid version.

13. Fire protection: stand construction and decorative materials
In accordance with DIN 4102-1 B1 or EN 13501-1 C s3 d0, materials must be at least flame-retardant and non-
burning when used in stand construction and as decoration. In general, materials that drip off when burning or
form toxic gases must not be used.
Load-bearing structural parts may be subject to special requirements in individual cases for safety reasons
(e.g. non-combustible).
Flame resistance must be proven at the latest from the start of assembly at the request of the organizer (Kontec
GmbH) and/or the event organization (atm GmbH) by submitting the test certificate from an approved test
center and proof of conformity.

14. Deliveries
In the area of the entrance to the underground car park behind the ICD from the Ostra bank, there is a drive-
way to the driveable open space behind the Congress Center facing the Elbe. From this open-air parking
area, the doors in the glass wall allow direct access to the exhibition area there (Halls 1-5 and restaurant).
Freight elevators can be used for deliveries to the exhibition area in the hall foyer at the suppliers' entrance to
the ICD from the Ostra riverbank. The free area may only be used for loading and unloading and may be
parked there. After completion of the delivery, trucks, vans and cars must be removed from this free space.
The trucks and vans can be parked in the bus parking lot "Volksfestgelände" behind the Marienbrücke (sub-
ject to charge). MARITIM ICD personnel will accompany the loading and unloading phase to KONTEC and
instruct the vehicles to drive on the open area.
A reservation for loading and unloading cannot be made. Please allow for waiting times if the free space is
already occupied. Therefore, we kindly ask you to load and unload the vehicles quickly.

15. Empties
For the temporary storage of empties (e.g. wooden or aluminium boxes, cartons, foils, pallets etc.) at your
exhibition stand, which you will need again on the day of dismantling for the repackaging of your stand mate-
rial, the conference rooms 7 + 8, in total approx. 90 m2 (conference level) are available to you free of charge.
The conference level is easily accessible by freight elevator, there is a direct, straight access from the freight
elevator to the conference rooms 7+8. For weatherproof material there is also the possibility of unguarded
outside storage behind the stage entrance of the Great Hall.
Due to current safety regulations (escape route plan), under no circumstances may material (e.g. empties,
pallets, etc.) and/or waste be temporarily stored in the supply corridor of the MARITIM International Congress
Center Dresden (ICD), the so-called "yellow corridor" and also not in the area of the ICD, Ostra-Bank. Any
material and/or waste stored there will be removed at the expense of the exhibitor concerned.

   Please note that due to the limited storage space available for the temporary storage of exhibition stand
    construction empties, we can only pay for the free temporary storage of normal exhibition stand con-
    struction empties.
We kindly ask especially those exhibitors where large quantities of empties are expected (e.g. large material
containers, pallets etc.) or exhibitors who are building their own stands to follow the instructions. If necessary,
there is the possibility of renting additional storage rooms in the MARITIM ICD for a fee. We recommend mak-
ing an advance arrangement with the event organization (contact@atm-hamburg.de / Phone
+49.40.228137790) in time before KONTEC starts.

16. Waste disposal
During the assembly and dismantling periods for the KONTEC exhibition, sufficient waste containers (1.1 m3
each) will be provided in the exhibition area. Please use the available waste containers for disposal of your
stand construction and stand equipment waste.
Notice for a given reason: NO materials may be temporarily stored or "disposed of" in the supply corridor of
the International Congress Center Dresden (so-called "yellow corridor") and also not in the area of the ICD,
Ostra-Bank.
Please note that we will charge separately for the removal or disposal of any material stored or disposed of in
the above-mentioned areas.

(D) CATERING
It is generally not permitted to bring food and beverages to the International Congress Center Dresden (ICD).
Please negotiate exceptions (e.g. specialities) directly with the MARITIM & ICD. If you have any special re-
quests or wishes that go beyond the MARITIM catering list, please contact the MARITIM & ICD directly.
We will provide you with an up-to-date catering form with current offers from the MARITIM International Con-
gress Center Dresden for your use in good time, approximately four months before the event begins.

(E) ADVERTISING & SPONSORSHIP
KONTEC 2021 offers besides the company presentation on your exhibition booth numerous advertising possi-
bilities for your company, e.g. by different kinds of sponsoring, advertisement in the event media or by flag
advertising at the event location.
We have compiled further details on this for you in the special issue "Advertising & Sponship". In addition, we
are of course always available for questions and your individual ideas and suggestions.
We would be very pleased if you and your company decide for a KONTEC 2021 accompanying advertising
campaign and kindly ask you to contact us if you are interested.

17.   Regulations for the Use of Auditoria
The hall usage regulation (status 2019) is valid in its current edition and can be adapted at any time until
KONTEC 2021.
In principle, the regulations of the Hall Usage Regulations and
the statutory requirements apply.
The following also applies:

 •    In general, the structural fabric of the building must be protected, this
      applies in particular:
      – Damage to columns, railings, beams, floors and walls, etc. due to the fastening of objects,
      introduction of loads, etc.
      – Adhesive tape residues due to highly adhesive fabric tape or other bonded surfaces
 •    With superstructures, the general stability (tilting moment) and floor loading must be taken into
      account (max. 500 kg/m²)
 •    Used materials, especially textiles, banners, etc., should comply with fire classification B1
      (flame-retardant)
 •    Compliance with electrical safety, in particular the testing of portable electrical equipment in
      accordance with DGUV regulation 3
 •    Escape and rescue routes/emergency exits must be kept clear at all times
 •    The organizer is responsible for compliance with the usual legal requirements, if applicable.
      This applies to this event, in particular to compliance with the JuSchG and the distribution of
      alcohol and tobacco products
 •    Particular attention must be paid to compliance with DGUV regulation 17/18 and the current
      industrial standards of the IGVW
 •    Compliance with possible qualification requirements, in particular
      – Supervision by a stage and studio specialist for technical constructions (DGUV regulation
      17/18 §15)
      – Ability to guide lifting platforms (DGUV regulation 100-500)
      – Appropriate qualification (VT specialist, rigger) for hanging temporary loads above persons
 •    Flammable activities (all activities with open flames or explosive substances) must be reported
      to the responsible fire protection authority
 •    The use of show lasers must be registered with the competent authority and approved
 •    One metre around and under the beverage stations, to protect the sensitive floor, a moisture-
      impermeable covering should be laid first, followed by an absorbent covering.
