Invitation Dear Colleagues, In 2020, Milan will host the 57th ERA-EDTA Congress and, as every year, it will be the time to celebrate goals and achievements as well as explore new paths and be fascinated by innovations and developments which influence the world of nephrology. The Italian city symbol of progress and change, venue of the EXPO in 2015, will welcome you to this great showcase. Therefore, you will not only enjoy all the events organised during the congress but you will also discover one of the most bustling cities in Europe. The Scientific Committee, chaired by Prof. Peter J. Blankestijn, has worked very hard to guarantee an outstanding scientific programme that will hopefully meet the expectations of visitors and satisfy the nephrology community. We look forward to experiencing this extraordinary edition of the 2020 ERA-EDTA Congress and to falling in love with the modern and fascinating city of Milan. Loreto Gesualdo Piergiorgio Messa Carmine Zoccali Congress President Congress Secretary ERA-EDTA President 5
