Join us for Trinity Rep’s London THEATER TOUR September 22–30, 2018 • 8 Nights/9 Days with The Arthur P. Solomon and Sally E. Lapides Artistic Director Curt Columbus and Nate Watson Dear Friends, I am so pleased to invite you to join Trinity Rep’s signature, nine-day theater tour to London from September 22–30, 2018. Each year, we journey to this remarkable city to experience the art, architecture, and unparalleled theater offerings of one of Europe’s great capitals. This trip has always had a sense of tradition but each year we discover something new and unexpected. I am sure this trip will be no exception. We are returning to the renowned Chesterfield Hotel, located in the heart of the beautiful and posh Mayfair neighborhood. Situated near Shepherds Market, Green Park, Buckingham Palace, and Piccadilly Square, there is a treasure trove of things to do and see around every corner. Our friends at the Chesterfield are so very pleased for our return. They are eager to make your stay both comfortable and memorable, with a trademark sense of warm, traditional, British hospitality. This year’s tour is a bit earlier than in years past, so that we can better take advantage of outdoor performances and other offerings. Of course, we are already on the lookout for our world-class line-up of plays, ranging from classics to new works, from musicals to dramas, from West End extravaganzas to intimate experiences. London always serves up a rich banquet of theatrical experiences. We will absolutely take full advantage of what’s playing. The greatest part of any Trinity Rep trip is that our theater-going experience is enhanced by our lively and illuminating post-show discussions after every performance, as well as exclusive special guest appearances, and a look behind a scene or two! I say it every year, and it continues to be true — the most important reason to recommend this tour is the wonderful people who attend year after year. Trinity travelers are intrepid, worldly, and endlessly curious. In times as these, broadening our minds, seeking truth and integrity though art and expression have never more important. Please register quickly and save the date. In recent years, our London tour has sold out in just a few weeks from release. On behalf of Nate Watson and myself, we hope you will join us on this great adventure, and I look forward to seeing you in the theater… in jolly ol’ London! Curt Columbus
