16th October 2021 Game of golf at Erinvale Golf Course , including Carts
One of the jewels of Cape Winelands golf, Erinvale is a ‘must play’ golf course nestled at the foot of the
Helderberg mountains, with sweeping views of the Winelands and False Bay coastline. The Gary Player
designed course was opened in 1995 by “the Master himself”, and since established its position amongst
the top golfing experiences in the Western Cape. The course has an interesting and varied layout, and the
back nine must be considered amongst the best in the country.

DAY 3: Sunday Breakfast at your hotel
17th October 2021 Game of golf at De Zalze Golf Course , including Carts
The De Zalze Golf Course situated within the De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate was designed by Peter
Matkovich (course architect for Leopard Rock, Arabella & Pinnacle Point amongst others) who made the
most of the stunning setting and created a course that places a premium on accuracy. The course has an
excellent mix of parkland holes with its main challenges presented in the form of the water features on
several holes, as well as the Oak tree lined Blaauwklippen River which winds its way through the Golf Estate
and comes into play at various intervals.

DAY 4: Monday Early breakfast at your hotel before checking out.
18th October 2021 Full day transferring to The Fancourt Resort Hotel, with a stop off at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve for a
game drive and lunch.

With the magnificent Outeniqua Mountains as a backdrop and sweeping views out over the glistening
Indian ocean below, lies Botlierskop Private Game Reserve. This gracious family-owned and privately-
operated game reserve is malaria-free and home to four of the Big 5 (lion, elephant, buffalo and rhino) as
well as a host of antelope, including rare black impala, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, hippo and more.

DAY 5: Tuesday Breakfast at your hotel
19th October 2021 Morning game of golf at Pinnacle Point, including Carts—Tee off 9.30am
Overlooking the Indian Ocean near Mossel Bay, and designed by Peter Matkovich and 2011 Open
Champion, Darren Clarke, Pinnacle Point is one of the most unique and scenic golf courses in the world.
This Clifftop Fynbos Golf Course inspires the golfer to play this challenging layout with a level of respect
due to its dramatic views and breathtaking terrain. The 72 par layout is characterised by 7 majestic holes
that line the Indian Ocean rock cliffs, four of which are played over ocean and cliff. All 18 holes have been
designed to fit the contours of the land.
Pinnacle Point is an exceptionally well-balanced golf course, that will challenge the most talented golfer,
However, as a result of a minimum of five tee boxes per hole, it allows the average golfer to enjoy their
round of golf and perhaps post a personal best score on “The best golf course on the planet” (Darren
Clarke).

20th October 2021 GOLF: Play 18 holes @ Fancourt Links Golf Course—walking course with caddy fee included.
The Links is currently ranked as the number one golf course in the country by Golf Digest South Africa. It
also ranks 38th in Golf Digest US edition’s list of the world’s 100 greatest golf courses. The Links is the
iconic golfing hallmark of the Fancourt estate. Golfing legend Gary Player described it as his greatest ever
feat as a course designer. Featuring an undulating, windswept terrain and dune-style landscape, The Links
has hosted some of the most prestigious tournaments in the world, including the Presidents Cup (2003),
the SA Open (2005) and the 2012 Volvo Golf Champions European Tour. Inspired by the famous links
courses of the British Isles, The Links is considered a masterpiece.

Non Golfers: Enjoy a visit to Birds of Eden and Monkeyland
Birds of Eden is home to some 220 different types of birds, and more than 3500 birds live in the
sanctuary. The award-winning bird sanctuary provides forever homes where previously caged bides can
live a life of free-flight in a habitat as large and natural as possible. The feathered inhabitants of the
aviary are comprised of a mixture of exotic, as well as African birds. Monkeyland, is the world’s first free-
roaming multi-species primate sanctuary.

Named after the Mountain that overlooks this magnificent Garden Route golfing gem, the Outeniqua Course
at Fancourt is one that barely needs introduction. Of the two parklands courses offered at Fancourt, the
Outeniqua is regarded as the easier. Don’t let that fool you however; the Outeniqua has been ranked the
number one golf course in South Africa on a few occasions and presents a true test of golfing with its many
risk-and-reward opportunities. The streams and water hazards that come into play on eleven of the holes
add exciting shore challenges to the elegant course.

23rd October 2021 Keeping you head down at Simola can be a challenge; simply because the views around the course are
awe-inspiring, and with this, it is clear to see why Simola takes its place as one of South Africa’s premier
golfing destinations. It’s also the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course on the Garden Route, reflecting the
maestro’s philosophy of attuning the layout and design to the natural lie of the land. The course offers
challenging and rewarding golf amidst spectacular scenery. Set below the high ridges, it’s free from the
wind that so often plagues coastal courses. It’s par for the course that every hole boasts exceptional

Leopard Creek Golf Course
The Leopard Creek Golf Course is, hands down, South Africa’s best wildlife / safari golfing experience. The course actually borders the Kruger
National Park, separated by nothing less than the carving crocodile river. When you imagine a golf course in this habitat it’s easy to fall into
the trap of thinking that the grounds are just as scrubby and arid as its lowveld surroundings but nothing could be further from the truth. In
fact, Johann Rupert and his team have spared no cost in creating one of the lushest and indeed finest playing surfaces in the country.
The emerald green surfaces and white sculpted bunkers are naturally protected from the resident wildlife through innovative architecture and
landscaping. That said, hazards at Leopards Creek certainly take on a new meaning with sightings of crocodile, hippo, antelope, buffalo and
elephant being all too common. A dream for the safari enthusiast!

PAYMENT INFORMATION
A deposit of AUD$100 per person is to made at time of booking. A second deposit of AUD$3,000 per person is due on 31 March 2021. The
final non-refundable payment is due on 31 July 2021. Please note that all tour payments made after 30 July 2021, including the Final
Payment, are NON-REFUNDABLE. It is essential that you obtain Travel Insurance (see below) before you make the Final Payment. Travel
Insurance can be purchased 12 months from the date of the tour.

receive 100% refund of your deposit. If your deposit was made via credit card, any applicable credit card charges will not be included in the
refunded amount.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations by the client must be in writing to Teed-Up Golf Tours and are subject to the following forfeit of cost per person:
• Cancellation at any time after deposit has been paid and before 30 July 2021: 100% of deposit(s) refundable
• Cancellation received after 30 July 2021: 100% of the package value, including any Final Payments, lost
Teed Up reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond
our control. Teed Up* is not responsible for any costs for other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations or rescheduling of any
tour departure.
CURRENCY FLUCTUATIONS
The tour price is in AUD and is based on 1AUD=10ZAR. If on 30 July 2021 the exchange rate has moved by more than 5% then the tour cost
may adjusted up or down depending on the new rate.
TWINSHARE & NON-GOLFER SINGLE PACKAGES
If you select a ”Twin / Double Share” package you must nominate at the time of booking who you are sharing with on your booking form
otherwise you will be recorded and charged the price of a Single package. We are unable to find a twin share partner for you. You must also
nominate on your form if you require one bed (i.e. Queen or Double) or 2 separate beds. Please note all Non-Golfers are assumed to be twin-
sharing with a golfer.
IMPORTANT – TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is highly recommended so that you may be able to recover deposits and other payments made from the Insurer if you need
to cancel for approved reasons in the policy. AIG is our recommended travel insurer. Click here to get a quote within seconds from AIG

within a few minutes. This policy covers golf clubs up to a value of $3000, whereas many other policies only cover clubs to $500. If you
believe that you are covered for travel insurance with your credit card, please check with your bank. Please send through your policy number
and the travel insurer’s international contact number to Teed Up. Insurance can be taken out within 12 months of the departure date .

This is itinerary is accurate at time of compilation. Details may change due to circumstances outside our control. Golf courses and
accommodation may change depending on availability but will be replaced by similar standard courses and hotel where possible. This tour
includes the services of operators other than Teed Up Golf Tours. For example accommodation providers, golf courses, transport operators

Your host Bede Hendren will fly into Johannesburg on the evening of 28th October and then fly to Cape Town on 29th October arriving
around 2pm. Bede will fly from Port Elizabeth back to Johannesburg at 4.20pm on 7th November 2021. He will also be hosting the
Leopard Creek Optional tour as well.
