WINTER 2021 COVID-19 UPDATE The health and wellness of our participants, visitors, and staff is our top priority. As we all travel the path to a ‘new normal’, it is important to be patient and kind to one another. Operation of services in our facilities are approached in alignment with Public Health Orders and in accordance with BC’s Restart Plan, WorkSafeBC and industry-specific guidelines. Service delivery and policies are subject to change to meet evolving COVID-19 regulations. Please know that we will do our best to provide clear information regarding changes to services as they becomes available. All services offered have been modified to meet current COVID-19 safety requirements. While a facility may be open, not all services or amenities may be available. It is important to review all service and safety information in this guide and to visit our website regularly for updates prior to registering. We want you to be fully informed and prepared to participate safely. As always, our staff are here to help guide you through new requirements and can answer questions you may have. We look forward to continuing to serve the community and supporting active living in New Westminster during these challenging times. ACCESS & INCLUSION OPPORTUNITES Financial Assistance The Parks and Recreation Financial Assistance Program is designed to help residents participate in year-round active living. Eligible residents are entitled to a 50% fee discount on some registered programs. Sorry, memberships and passes are not eligible during COVID-19.
