REPORTS VALLEJO YACHT CLUB THE SHIP’S STORE Hello Shipmates, As you all know, we are actually having the Great Vallejo Race this year on Aug 21 & 22. We are actively planning for merchandise sales and I will need help doing this as in the past. Please sign up when the GVR signup board is posted, or you can call me at (707) 480-0734. Opening Night For The New Galley! A wonderful evening of food, fun, and friends again. Hats off to all who made it happen! Friday Night Dinner Well, we were finally able to reopen the club. Friday was the first dinner served out of our new kitchen. It was an amazing experience working with all the volunteers that helped put the dinner together. Quite a learning experience. If you see any of the members involved, make sure to thank them. Here’s a list in no special order: Sandy Kenyon, Olga Hambrick, Jeannie Bekind, Geoff Lambert, and Amy Hendricksen. Special thanks to Chris Mendonca and Ken Leslie for stepping in to wash dishes. Look for menus in the Binnacle coming up. Sausalito Yacht Club Cruise-In The Sausalito Yacht Club cruised in and partied with VYC members on Saturday, June 26.
