6 AccountancySchool.ie F1, F2 AND F3 TIMETABLES FOR 2018: We are changing the way that courses are delivered for the early subjects of F1, F2 and F3. You can choose the best mode of study and commencement date that suits your personal circumstances. 1. FACE TO FACE: The lectures are classroom based. These classes are also streamed live and recorded so you can review challenging topics after the class. In addition, if you cannot attend a lecture you can follow the live stream from your home or office. 2. BLENDED COURSE: The first lecture will be classroom based. It will also be streamed live and recorded if you are unable to attend the live lecture at our College. The lecturer will introduce him/herself and layout the lecture plans for you together with giving an introduction to the course. The remainder of the course will be delivered online and will also include the Revision Course (see below) 3. REVISION COURSE: These courses are classroom based face to face courses streamed live and recorded. They are included as part of the Face to Face course OR the Blended Lectures course. The revision course can also be taken as a stand alone course. We want to help you with these early papers by giving you an unlimited number of attempts at them.

LIAM DORAN FCCA, MBS (FINANCE) Liam is a Director at AccountancySchool.ie. He specialises in the areas of Financial Accounting and Financial Management for ACCA, CPA, CIMA and ACA. He is an immensely confident and popular lecturer. Liam has had students placed first in the World in P2 and numerous national and international prize-winners at P2 and P4. MICHAEL BRISTOW BSC (MGMT), FCCA, DIPIFR Michael is a senior lecturer in the area of Management Accounting and Performance Management. He has extensive experience in the area of Management Accounting and decision making. He has lectured on ACCA, CIMA, ACA and CPA courses and worked in both senior Management Accounting and Analyst roles. Michael is an ACCA qualified lecturer and received a number of placings during the course of his own examinations including a 1st in the world in Advanced Performance Management. JULIE HAWKINS CPA My Name is Julie Hawkins and I have been running taxation courses for ACCA students since 1991. For over twenty years I have consistently achieved pass rates over the national average and over 73 placings at 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Ireland. In June 2012 one of my students Sinead Buckley came first in the world in paper F6. I am 100% committed to ensuring that my students pass their exams first time and also learn practically about tax which they will use personally and in their future careers.
10 AccountancySchool.ie SHANE O’GRADY BSC Shane is a full-time Senior Lecturer with AccountancySchool.ie in the areas of Ethics, Corporate Governance and Strategy. Prior to joining AccountancySchool.ie, Shane was a member of the Enterprise Risk Services team in Deloitte. Shane has lectured on ACCA, ACA, CPA and IATI courses for the past number of years and he has developed an outstanding reputation due in no small part to his approachability and focus on examinations. SANDRA GLEESON FCCA, DIPIFR, AITI Sandra is a Senior Lecturer with AccountancySchool.ie and a Tax Training Associate Director with a large Accountancy firm in Dublin. Sandra specialises in Tax, Financial Accounting and Management Accounting. She has lectured to ACCA, CPA, IATI, CIMA and ACA students since 2002. Sandra has an exam focused teaching approach and an ability to simplify the more difficult areas of the subject. DAVE O’DONOGHUE FCCA, MSC, DIPIFR Dave is the Managing Director of AccountancySchool.ie where he lecturers at all levels of Auditing and Financial Reporting. Dave is currently the Irish representative on the ACCA Global Education Forum and he is also a Director of Chartered Grind School which prepares students to sit the exams of ACA Ireland. Dave has been lecturing to professional accountancy students since 1996. He has lectured students placed first in the World in F7 and a number who were placed 2nd in the World at F7 and F8. He has had numerous students who have been placed at national and international levels in F7, F8 and P7. Dave is a Fellow of ACCA and holds a Masters in Accountancy. He was previously the Course Director of Professional Accountancy at Griffith College. MICHAEL DONNELLY FCCA Michael Donnelly has been lecturing accountancy students since 1998 on ACCA and other accounting courses. Michael has also lectured for state bodies and other training firms. He has acted in positions of financial controller and director in retail, construction and property development companies since 1996. Michael brings a practical hands on approach to the classroom and he has numerous prize-winners at F3, F8 and P7 since he commenced his lecturing career .
AccountancySchool.ie 11 MICHAEL BARRY ND(BS), ACMA, MSC(FINANCE), AMCT, CGMA Michael has over 21 years of international lecturing experience, at both professional and academic levels. He joined BPP Ireland in 2003 after returning from a seven year project in South-East Asia. Michael became a welcome addition to the professional team at AccountancySchool.ie in January 2013. Michael brings a wealth of experience to classroom delivery producing exceptional pass rates and world prize winners. As both a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and Treasurer, Michael specialises in Advanced Financial Management and Management Accounting across a range of professional programmes. Michael is a former World Prize-Winner with experience in both Airline and Software Engineering Sectors. He has been a member of many Professional and Academic Boards with various institutions and designed Professional Development programmes for finance staff of listed companies in both Asia and Europe. SEAN MCLOUGHNEY Sean McLoughney, founder of LearningCurve, is a sought after learning and development specialist, author and speaker. Recently he reached a new milestone of 12 years in business and has helped over 10000 professionals at every level to improve their performance. In addition to his work with LearningCurve Sean is a senior lecturer (F1-Accountant in Business - ACCA) as well as a senior lecturer for IPASS. He also wrote, designed and delivers the highly successful Diploma in Managing People for the Chartered Accountants Ireland. Sean is an internationally published author. His first book “Slave to the Clock, Master of Time” helps you to improve your time management skills. Sean’s third book “Meaningful Performance Reviews” is published by Chartered Accountants Ireland. DR. VAL CORBETT BCL, LLM, PHD Val Corbett graduated with BCL and LLM degrees from the National University of Ireland, Cork in 1997 and 1998 respectively. He completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2008. He completed his PhD at Trinity College in 2017. Val was formerly the Head of the Law School at Independent College Dublin (2007- 2016) and prior to that was Head of the Law School at Griffith College Dublin (2001-2007). He has published in a number of Irish and international peer-reviewed journals in these fields. He has also published a number of student texts in the Law of Torts and has co-authored Employment Law in Ireland (Clarus Press, Dublin 2009). Val brings the ideal mixture of practical and academic to the F4 Law Paper at AccountancySchool.ie.
