JSB ENSEMBLE 2021 - Internationale Bachakademie Stuttgart
JSB ENSEMBLE 2021
Two weeks with Hans-Christoph Rademann, Academy director of the
International Bach Academy Stuttgart, and excellent lecturers working,
rehearsing and giving concerts! The successful concept of the past years
to put the music of Johann Sebastian Bach into a dialogue with works
from the family or other composers will be continued in March 2021
with »Johann Sebastian Bach in dialogue with Jan Dismas Zelenka«.

After an intensive study week at the Landesakademie Ochsenhausen (March 5 – 12, 2021), the
Bachwoche Stuttgart 2021 will take place from March 13 to 21, 2021. Since 2011, each year an
international orchestra and choir from more than twenty nations is assembled for the Bach Week:
the Junge Stuttgarter Bach Ensemble (JSB Ensemble). We are planning - despite the restrictions
imposed by the Corona Pandemic - internationally restricted, with a smaller but very high-quality
cast.

In its combination of scientific reflection (with lectures and podium discussions) and musical practice,
it is a unique study week that combines vocal and instrumental pedagogues, scientists, artists,
students and an interested audience together. Young people from all over the world grow
under the guidance of experienced instructors to a high-class ensemble, making a unique musical
contribution to the Stuttgart Bachwoche.
