Experience the Summer Outside! Each year, Joppa Flats Summer Camp explores eight local habitats through the course of the summer season. Through place-based learning activities, campers cultivate a sense of environmental stewardship as they participate in orienteering challenges, practice field identification, and replicate nature’s feats of engineering. Every week is filled with open-air inquiry, experiments, art, and games. This summer, Joppa Flats’ Naturalists will join the fun, bringing their expertise to every surrounding. On Thursdays, we will take a half-day trip to a nearby park, and Friday field trips will offer full immersion in each ecosystem.
