LEGAL AID CENTRE

Lucknow University Legal Aid
Centre     is   inspired   by    the
determination to promote 'EQUAL
ACCESS TO JUSTICE' and seeks to
promote legal literacy, provides
free legal service and tries to
create socially responsible citizens
and facilitates access to justice to
the marginalized and deprived
classes of the society.

OUR INITIATIVES
PoSH Awareness Workshop
PoSH or Prevention of Sexual Harassment
is a reach-out awareness initiative to
impart legal literacy under which rights
and procedures under the Sexual
Harassment of Women at Workplace
(Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal)
Act, 2013 is discussed.

Menstrual Hygiene
Initiative centered around creating
awareness      regarding    Menstrual
Hygiene     amongst      women    and
promote      usage    of   sustainable
menstrual products.

Legal Literacy
Programme
Organized in several organizations
over the last academic year. Legal
Literacy Programme aims to bridge
the gap in knowledge of students
regarding their rights and duties.
