Vaccination for young people aged 12–17 years old within the Montréal West Island IUHSSC Dear parents of children aged 12 to 17 years old, Vaccination is a family affair on the West Island. There are a number of activities planned at the vaccination sites during the time slots reserved for adolescents to help reduce any possible stress concerning vaccination. Music and zootherapy are just some of what we have planned! If you are accompanying a young person, you can receive your first dose of the vaccine at the same time, if you have not already done so. To make an appointment at the same time as your teenager during the reserved time for young people, you can do so by calling the dedicated phone line at 514-734-7774. To make an appointment at another time that better suits you outside of the dedicated youth time slots, you may do so by making an appointment on quebec.ca/vaccincovid. Please note that an appointment is mandatory for EACH person wanting a vaccine. There are reserved time slots for adolescents and their families from June 7 to June 23: • evenings from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. First doses will be administered to young people aged 12 to 17 years old throughout the summer for those who could not do so before June 23.
