The Y-ECCO Membership apply for young medical doctors when the Affiliate Membership is open to a holder of a post-gra- duate non-medical degree professionally affiliated with the field of IBD (e.g.: dietitian, pharmacist, psychologist) who is not an industry representative. 2 Nurses registering at the Nurse Non-Member Congress fee must upload a certificate of their current nurse status and registration number during the registration process. 3 Students/PhD Students and holders of post-graduate non-medical degree professionally affiliated with field of IBD (e.g.: dietician, pharmacist, psychologist) may register for the Affiliate Non-Member Congress fee. All delegates registering at this fee must upload a certificate of their professional status/Student or PhD Student status during the registration process. 4 Patient Advocates registering at this fee must upload a proof of their membership of a Patient Advocate Association during the registration process. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed. Please note that you might not have access to industry sponsored satellite symposia. If no certificate is being uploaded, the registration process cannot be completed. 5 All exhibitors (industry representatives) will be charged an exhibitor congress fee giving them access to the exhibition hall, industry sponsored satellite symposia, congress abstracts and certificate of attendance.

As part of this mission ECCO will adopt and further all efforts that lead to an improvement of the use of current therapies and procedures. Main aims include the development of guidelines with highest possible methodology and content quality and joint efforts to define better and more valid outcome parameters for the therapy of IBD. Further aspects of the mission include the promotion of specialist, postgraduate education in IBD and the promotion of scientific projects in IBD. Such promotion can include intellectual input, funding and joint training using an ECCO defined curriculum. ECCO’s visibility will be always as an organisation and not as the individuals making up ECCO. With all its activities the name of ECCO will stand in the world of gastroenterology for the highest possible level in quality and full impartiality in the results. E-QUALITY ECCO Quality of Care Project Project Framework: • Intended to ultimately improve the quality of care of patients living with IBD • Building on the ECCO Position Statement on Quality of Care Standards in IBD and the UR-CARE database • First step: Identifying gaps between quality standards as defined by ECCO Statements and current practice in daily clinical care • Second step: Fill the identified gaps with educational tools and/or activities • Quality standards identified in three main domains: Structure, Process and Outcomes Keep an eye on the first results to come! Scientific Programme Scientific Programme “Sequencing in IBD” The Scientific Programme of the 18th Congress of ECCO provides attendees the unique opportunity to learn from the world’s leading specialists in the field of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
