A Message from OAPN Board President, Robert Baird Welcome to the first-ever OAPN Block-Booking Conference. This past year has seen many changes to our organization, not the least of which was the change in name to Ohio Arts Professionals Network. This name change was and is a reflection of the fact that we welcome to our organization, and strive to support, all arts professionals. Our main activity this past year was to reinvigorate the organization and make this block-booking conference a reality. It has taken the combined input and efforts of many people and I would especially like to thank each and every OAPN Board member who volunteered their time and worked hard on so many aspects of this conference. In addition, our three conference co-chairs provided amazing leadership for this gathering in Dayton. Arica Pfirsch, our Executive Director, has been instrumental in so many ways, not only for this conference, but for the work of OAPN in general. I would also like to thank the Victoria Theatre Association for hosting this conference in the Victoria Theatre and Schuster Center, truly one of the most impressive performing arts complexes in Ohio and beyond. As an arts professionals network we at OAPN are very aware of the need to provide value for all of our membership and we hope that this conference will succeed in doing just that. We are offering multiple networking opportunities, an array of juried showcases, professional development sessions and block-booking opportunities. I hope that you take away many things of value from our conference. Post-conference, OAPN will continue to support the needs of all arts professionals in Ohio throughout the year. Robert Baird, President Ohio Arts Professionals Network
