Introduction to the Service
SimpleCertifiedMail.com is a SaaS based service that significantly improves every step of the
USPS Certified Mail® process – preparation, acceptance, notification of delivery, data analysis
and record-keeping.
Three production platforms (Desktop, Batch and Web Service) run on the same
application and can be used simultaneously. At the request of clients, the system was extended
to cover Priority®, Priority Express® and First Class® mail services.
The SimpleCertifiedMail.com service has a multi-year enterprise customer retention
rate exceeding 95%.

Selecting the Mail Service and Format
Choose USPS Certified Mail®, Priority Mail®, Priority Express Mail® and First Class Mail® services. With Certified Mail®, any mail piece over 13
ounces automatically mails via Priority Mail®.

Printing the Label
The SCM “label” includes
postage, eliminating the
need to pass the mail
through a postal meter.
The SCM “label” can be
printed in a variety of ways.

Print on plain paper and tuck inside a window envelope; print on #SL200 sheet labels for flats and packages (or #SL250 label for those who still
require Green Cards rather than Return Receipt Electronic. For high volume applications, print and mail facilities can print directly on envelopes.

1. Fill out our Excel template
2. Create a new batch job and upload your file
3. We validate your file for correct data format and correct addresses against
the USPS database. You review and click Process to Create labels
4. Finally, once the batch process is complete we include a zip file with all your
labels included as GIFs, which you print from your browser.

Web Service Production Platform
Web Services
• API’s enable clients to request completed Certified Mail labels from
SimpleCertifiedMail.com and have them returned to a designated location within
the client’s service for printing and mailing.
• This is an ideal method for high volume clients to integrate current technology into
an environment of forms and semi-automated processes.
• We have customers that don’t have to touch their Certified Mail pieces until they
come out of their folder/inserter. And of course they never use a Green Card.
• A full array of API’s are available. Clients can request a PDF document for Proof of
Acceptance, Proof of Delivery, Return Receipt (Electronic), Delivery Status, and
more.

Simplifying Proof of Acceptance
In most cases, the USPS provides an “Accepted at
USPS Original Facility” message back to our service
automatically, the equivalent of the red date-
stamped PS 3800 Certified Mail receipt. If needed,
you can also print a SCAN Form for an additional
level of comfort.
