It offers a sophisticated yet easy-to-use interface that helps you utilize and analyze the information. With the Xite interface, users do not have to write their own queries or be familiar with relational databases. The data is already summarized and organized, freeing users to view it at a detailed or summary level and easily conduct the necessary analyses. The interface provides preset queries of the data. Citation reports carry article level detail and provide context through metrics 1 Cites: Total citation count for selected paper. 2 Cites2: Second generation cite count based on total citations received by the 1 2 3 4 5 6 citing articles. 3 Expected Citation Rate: An average rate of citation for all papers of that document type (articles, reviews, letters, etc.), in that journal, for that selected year. This metric adds context to citation counts. 4 Ratio: Ratio of actual cites to expected cites (actual cites /expected citation rate). 5 Field: Subject area for the journal in which the paper appeared. 6 %: Percentile position of the paper based on citations by field. Individual view of papers An individual record of the paper displays all its authors, related information, and abstract.
