The 2017 PLAYERS debuted a significant renovation of THE PLAYERS Stadium Course and surrounding fan amenities, resulting in landmark improvements to the property – furthering the tournaments position as the global showcase for Northeast Florida. THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass is home to the most recognized golf hole in sports and a global destination for golf and sport enthusiasts. THE PLAYERS is an important gathering place for our partners to entertain prospects, clients and associates. The fan-friendly set-up of TPC Sawgrass, the history and tradition of the tournament, and the best golfers in the world on display assure the very best experience for you and your guests. Following the 2018 tournament, THE PLAYERS Championship will debut in March 2019 – making the next time we gather a mere 13 months away. SHOWCASE OF EXCELLENCE Best Field in Golf Everything about the tournament is designed to showcase the very best professional golf has to offer. The quality of the field ensures that every player is a contender. No amateurs, no club pros, no qualifiers nor sponsor exemptions, just the best golfers on the planet going toe to toe on the most level playing field in the game. The one who captures the crystal knows that he has beaten the game’s very best. The Purest Test in Golf The Stadium favors no particular style and demands excellence from all. Distance only gains an advantage with precision. Small, contoured greens demand a deft touch. Every hole has elements of risk and reward, drama and excitement. The course tests every facet of the game, every club in the bag. The players understand and appreciate that they must have a well-rounded game to triumph over the Stadium course. A Shrine to Golf Fans While the players like to call this championship ‘their own,’ the Stadium course was designed with the complete fan experience built into its DNA. This fan-friendliness encompasses the entire tournament venue, including all the modern amenities and technology that today’s fans expect, and culminates with views of golf that are unlike any other in the world. It welcomes fans and provides them the ability to watch any golfer hit any shot on any hole at any time, and when they reach the Stadium’s final three holes they are witness to the most dramatic set of risk/reward holes in all of golf. Witness History Each May The combination of field, course and engaged fans at THE PLAYERS produces an electric atmosphere that creates an experience unlike anything else in the game. Jack Nicklaus. Lee Trevino. Ray Floyd. Nick Price. Greg Norman. Fred Couples. Phil Mickelson. Tiger Woods. The greatest players of the modern era all have etched their names in the annals and earned the title of PLAYERS Champion. Each May, the world of golf gathers to witness a renewed showcase of excellence and welcome another member into this prestigious club.

GOLF: PONTE VEDRA INN & CLUB Ponte Vedra Inn and Club offers golf to corporate clients of THE PLAYERS Championship on both of their private courses. The Ocean and Lagoon Course each feature a distinct seaside links flavor. Meandering lagoons, undulating fairways, elevated Bermuda greens protected by steep-faced bunkers and a prevailing sea breeze provide for every kind of shot making challenge imaginable. In 1939, the Ocean Course was selected to host the prestigious Ryder Cup Matches. Unfortunately, just months prior to the scheduled event, it was cancelled due to the onset of World War II. Five times in its history, the Ocean Course has proudly served as the site for the U.S. Open qualifying round. The cost per person on Ocean Course is $290, Lagoon Course $270. Rates include green fees, carts and range balls. Please use code: KIM17 Bruce W. Mohler, Head Golf Professional bmohler@pvresorts.com Phone: 800.234.7842 ext. 7711
GOLF: SAWGRASS COUNTRY CLUB Sawgrass Country Club is a 27-hole championship golf course created by Arnold Palmer’s design partner, Ed Seay. Through the years, Sawgrass has been consistently recognized as one of the finest courses in the country and has been included in Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Courses in the U.S., Golf Digest’s Best Courses in Florida, and GolfWeek Magazine’s Top 100 Courses in America. Sawgrass Country Club hosted the PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP from 1977 to 1981 as well as the Senior PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP in 1987. Sawgrass Country Club will challenge every element of your game; constantly changing wind conditions makes the player excited to finish. Bring a camera, between the alligators, Bald eagles, and views of the Atlantic Ocean, you will want to capture your Sawgrass experience to show your friends. Each nine requires distance off the tee while putting a premium on accuracy. With water on 22 of the 27 holes, along with approaches into extremely well-bunkered greens, placement is of prime importance. In addition, the greens are shallow but wide, creating difficult hole locations. Sawgrass Country Club offers tee times daily from 7:30 to 8:15am and 12:45 to 1:30pm. Tee times are $1,200+tax for each group of four which includes greens fees, cart fees and forecaddie fee. Caddie gratuity not included; recommended $25 per person. The cost is $220 per person plus sales tax. Rates include green fees, carts and range balls. Tee times are accepted 30 days in advance. GOLF: KING & BEAR - WORLD GOLF VILLAGE The only collaboration between golf’s greatest legends, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, the King & Bear is set among pristine lakes, beautiful Loblolly pines, and stately oak trees. The King & Bear is located in St. Augustine, just a short drive from TPC Sawgrass. Each hole contains characteristics of both players to create a unique golf course. Measuring 7,279 yards from the stone tees and 5,119 yards from the green tees, this course is sure to challenge the skilled golfer while providing player-friendly conditions for the novice. This is a driver’s course, which should come as no surprise as both Palmer and Nicklaus wielded awesome power games in their primes. You’ll also experience the wide fairways of Nicklaus and the fast greens of Palmer. So enamored of the course he helped design, Arnold Palmer selected hole number 15 as one of his “Dream 18” in Sports Illustrated’s Preview to the Ryder Cup 2006. The cost per person is $169+tax. Rates include greens fee, carts and range balls. Please use code: KIM17 Jeff Hartman, PGA Director of Golf Jeff.Hartman@Honoursgolf.com Phone: 904.940.6010
GOLF: SLAMMER & SQUIRE - WORLD GOLF VILLAGE The Slammer & Squire course is located in the heart of the World Golf Village Resort, just steps from the World Golf Hall of Fame, in St. Augustine. This 18-hole championship resort course was designed by Bobby Weed with design consultants Sam “The Slammer” Snead and Gene “The Squire” Sarazen. These two men were innovators in the sport at their time and contributed, in many ways, to the sport of golf as we know it today. The course features two distinct nines with generous fairways, contoured greens and plenty of water hazards along with impressive views of the World Golf Hall of Fame. The cost per person is $129+tax. Rates include green fees, carts and range balls. Please use code: KIM17 Jeff Hartman, PGA Director of Golf Jeff.Hartman@Honoursgolf.com Phone: 904.940.6010
