HOLIDAY PROGRAM January 2021 Applications Close by 8 December 2020 Welcome to ConneXtions - Holiday Program. It is our aim to keep our kids active and engaged during the school holidays. While we already know your child please complete the appropriate forms to enrol in our holiday program. This handbook contains relevant information on our procedures and guidelines for our program. We recommend that you read the information carefully and if you have any questions please discuss them with us prior to proceeding with your enrolment. 2
Welcome to our Holiday Activities for young people aged 6 - 18 years These activities provide our community with active options for young people during school holiday periods. The activities works towards enhancing each individual participant’s self-image, self-worth and individual as well as team building skills. Participants will continue to develop and practice socials skills, share and interact with others while being active in their communities and/or trying new things. Daily programs encompass a wide variety of activities (individual and team), games and team building activities. Children are encouraged to participate and be involved in every activity on offer. Daily structure Participants will be grouped into age appropriate activities each day based on interests and numbers and individual needs. There will be three groups running daily: Group 1 (6 - 10 year old activities), Group 2 (10 - 15 year old activities) and Group 3 (15 - 18 year old Activities). Staff ratio's of 1:2 and 1:1 are available and will depend on individual and group need and activity. 9am Drop-off time Daily Activities 9am-9:15am Young people are broken up Please note session times and activities into activity groups can be subject to change at short notice. 9:15am- Block 1 activity A variety of activities have been scheduled 10:45am weekly which includes: 10:45am-11am Morning tea LEGGO, Jumping Castles, Fishing, Music 11am-12:30 Block 2 activity and Songwriting, Dungeons and 12:30pm-1pm Lunch and afternoon arrivals Dragons, Mansfield Zoo, Old Beechworth Gaol, Laser Tag, Cooking, Sailing and 1pm- 3.30 pm Block 3 activity Swimming.
