If you have never been skiing or snowboarding, you are in good company.
Ober is a beginner-friendly mountain. Rentals are available from head to toe,
and with affordable lessons, picking up this sport is as easy as showing up!

Clothing and equipment

skis, snowboards, bindings,
and poles.
If you are seeking the experience of a lifetime with your friends or family, our
Mountain is prepared. Yeti’s Run, Ober Chute, and Grizzly challenge even the most
avid skiers and snowboarders. Ask about special rates for groups of 15 or more.

A fan favorite, our Snow Tubing Park will bring joy to your family ages 3 and up.
The 50-foot vertical drop is a pure rush of fun and adrenaline. The Magic Carpet lift
whisks you and your tube up the hill so no climbing is necessary! Coaster & Tubing
*New* The Magic Carpet is covered which means that snow Our Ski Mountain Coaster is available all four seasons! As long
tubers will have an even better experience! as we can keep frost off the tracks, this thrilling experience will
be an unforgetable addition to your winter vacation.

Play all Day...
Open Holidays and Weekends, the Cubbies Snow Zone makes snow dreams come
true! We invite our little guests 48” and under to play in a safe snow area built
just for them. Call ahead to inquire about weekday accessibility.
Our indoor carousel is perfect for our little
guests and is open all year long.

Please note that Ice Bumper Cars may be in storage during holiday and

Enjoy the Ice... Our 140’x75’ year-round Indoor Ice Rink is the centerpiece of Ober Gatlinburg’s
Mountaintop Mall. We have over 400 pairs of hockey and figure skates for all
ages and our newest attraction, the Southeast’s only Ice Bumper Cars.
Encounter Wildlife...
During the Winter, our Black Bears are usually resting, but the Bobcats, River Otters,
Birds of Prey and our Red Fox are out and about, even in cooler temps! Ober
rescues and homes these native animals who are unable to survive in nature.

The Aerial Tramway connects Ober’s Downtown Tramway Mall to Ober’s Mountaintop.
Both offer unique shops that carry everything from Smoky Mountain souvenirs
to name brand apparel. You can find everything you want at The Shops at Ober.
