Happy Mother’s Day! “Bring Flowers of the Fairest...” Saint Isaac Jogues Parish celebrates Mother’s Day and May Crowning May 12, 2019 — The Fourth Sunday of Easter Today as we celebrate Mother's Day we remember with gratitude and affection all mothers. Gregorio Isaac Jogues School. She died from complications from Tuesday, May 14, 2019–Saint Matthias, Apostle the flu while visiting family in Marietta, Georgia over 7:00 AM-Ken Schreiner Easter. Her funeral was held this past week. Page Eight May 12, 2019 WE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS! The SIJ Parish Council is looking to add new members, to begin their term this September. The Council is comprised of Father De Salvo, representatives from Parish Administration and Parishioners. The Council is a consultative body that assists our Pastor with most major issues involving the Parish. The Parish Council meets from September to May. Parish Council members serve a 3-year term, must be Catholic, and be an active parishioner of St. Isaac Jogues. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation. The other two Sacraments of Initiation are Baptism and Confirmation. Congratulations to all of them.
