Congratulations on your Engagement! I would like to welcome you to The Huntsman Inn and thank you for considering us, to host your special day! Set in the picturesque hills above Holmfirth, The Huntsman’s location is breath taking as it is surrounded by the rolling Pennines. Our fantastic air conditioned function suite is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and with doors that open out in to our beautiful garden area it is the ideal place to hold your dream wedding. Here at The Huntsman Inn we understand that every wedding is unique in its own way so if our packages don’t suit your needs I would be more than happy to tailor-make you your own package! We have a dedicated and experienced team who take great pride in making sure your day is as perfect for you as it can be! Accommodation: The Huntsman Inn has 15 newly refurbished, air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms, they comprise of the following: • 9 Double Rooms • 5 Family Rooms • 1 Honeymoon Suite When booking a wedding all the rooms on that day are automatically allocated to your party (subject to availability), please note however any rooms on the allocation sheet that have not been confirmed will be released 12 weeks prior to the wedding. The rate for allocated rooms is available as follows: - Double/twin room £100.00 based on double occupancy - Double/twin room £90.00 based on single occupancy - Family room £140 based on 2 adults & 2 children - Additional people in a room £20 These rates include full English breakfast and VAT. Check in time on the day of arrival is 3pm and on departure morning check out is 11.00am. Confirming Your Wedding Date We can provisionally hold a wedding date for you for 14 days from the day of booking, in order to confirm this reservation we require a deposit of £500. If the wedding date is not confirmed within the 14 day period, the date will be released. Please note that the deposit of £500 is non-refundable.
Civil Ceremonies If you wish to hold your ceremony at the Huntsman, our function room is licensed for civil ceremonies. There will be an additional room hire fee of £250. It is your responsibility to book your registrar. Please contact Huddersfield Registry office directly to make arrangements for your marriage to take place at the Huntsman, using the details below: Huddersfield Register Office Huddersfield Town Hall Ramsden Street Huddersfield HD1 2TA Telephone: 01484 221030 Email: huddersfieldregistrars@kirklees.gov.uk Two registrars will attend your marriage at The Huntsman, one will conduct the ceremony and the other will register the marriage.

Wedding Wine and Champagne The wine list is subject to change every 6 months. Please ask for a current wine list approximately 6 weeks before the wedding date. Additional wine can be purchased for guests, please see the statements below to assist you with budgeting. • House wine at present is priced between £18.00 and £23.00 per bottle. You can get approximately 5 glasses from each bottle. • Sparkling wine at present is priced from £23.50 per bottle. You can get approximately 5 glasses from each bottle. • Champagne at present is priced from £36.25 to £51.00 per bottle. You can get approximately 5 flutes from each bottle. • Orange juice is priced at £7.50 per jug. You can get approximately 6 glasses from each jug. • Large bottles of mineral water (sparkling or still) are priced at £3.00 per bottle. You can get approximately 6 glasses from each bottle.
