Supporting Mental Health and Wellness Hello, I am Jessie Mercado, a Burbank Girl Scout, and I am hosting a Zoom event with the help of Family Service Agency of Burbank to educate teens on anxiety, depression, major stress, and ways to prioritize their mental health and wellness. I am hosting this event as my Girl Scout Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest award that a Girl Scout can earn. It requires a minimum of 80 hours of work, and recognizes a Girl Scout's personal leadership skills, and her measurable and sustainable impact on her community. Would you be willing to help promote my event to John Burroughs students? I would appreciate it if information on my event could be added to school announcements and/or shared with students on google classroom. My project is titled Supporting Mental Health & Wellness Through Calming Activities. The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 15th from 10:30am to 12:00pm, and students must register on my website in order to attend the event. In this email I have attached a flyer with information on my event, and here is the link to my website.
