Glenburn Lodge lends itself to family fun, group excursions and outdoor
activities due to the two rivers on the property, a beautiful mountain and
stretches of grass lands all within a private game reserve.
RECREATIONAL FACILITIES (ON-SITE) No charge to in-house guests Mountain Hiking Trails (Between 45 min – 2 hours) Bird Watching at Glenburn’s Wetlands and River meander River Fishing (Trout, Bass and Carp) Universal Sports Field GLENPALMS Swimming pool & light meals (weekends and selected holidays) Kiddies games room, kiddies pool, jungle gym Floodlit Tennis Court Putt-Putt Course ROCK POOL – Complete with Jacuzzi GUIDED WALKS – (Book in advance | Speak to us for exclusive group hikes with a guide.) Due to recent flooding experienced in the Muldersdrift area, our regular hiking trails (green, yellow and red) have been slightly affected making some area inaccessible. Our team has been working relentlessly to rehabilitate and re-mark the scenic routes but this is an ongoing process and not yet completed. We are however excited to introduce our new temporary measure called ‘Guided Hike Weekends’ at Glenburn Lodge & Spa. Book one of two available Guided Hike Weekend Timeslots (Saturday & Sunday) – 06h30 (Longer Walk) or 10h00 (Shorter Walk) for only R95 per person which includes a R40 voucher redeemable at our food court and experience our newly established (and equally picturesque) re-routed trails accompanied by one of our professional nature guides. Terms & Conditions apply, Subject to availability and Maximum numbers. THE TRADING POST – Convenience Store located near main Reception Selling: Cold drinks, snacks, sweets, Ice cream, curio items Operational hours: Please consult with Reception GLENBURN SPA – Essential to pre-book direct with Spa 011 668 1615/ Internal ext. 2362 / www.glenburnspa.co.za MOUNTAIN BIKE – Two cycling routes – Less than 5km The beginner route (Green) is for cyclist of all ages and levels, while the advance route (Red) is a technical ride with several up-and-downhills and rocky stretches. Bike hire fees applicable. Hiring of Bikes and routes subject to availability. Vouchers can be purchased for future use – Please contact Reception for further information
