Drakenstein colt impresses in Somerset

                                                                                Pic-Wayne Marks.

The Drakenstein owned and bred Trip Of Fortune stormed clear to a most impressive win in
the World Sports Betting Somerset 1200 at Kenilworth yesterday in a time of 73.22 seconds.

The Trippi colt had cracked his maiden fluently in open company last time out, and handled the
step up in class with aplomb. Completing a great result for the blue and white, Drakenstein owned
Danilo Danilovich and Infinite Peace finished third and fourth respectively.

Out of G2 winning mare Louvre, Trip Of Fortune was expertly handled by Keagan de Melo, and is
a half brother to the very useful year-older filly Marmalisa (Duke Of Marmalade), who like him is
trained by Candice Bass-Robinson. –tt
