3 FUNTASTIC GETAWAYS POLICIES Space will be held on a tentative basis for you when reserving a trip. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not received in a timely manner. Deposits & Cancellations: Since we are obligated to make financial commitments to my suppliers prior to a tour's departure based on your anticipated participation, we have instituted the following reservation & cancellation policies: Daytrips: Full payment is due 45 days prior to the trip, and is Refundable up to 14 days prior to the trip Daytrips with ticketed events (theatre, show, or ballgame): Shows under $ 100 require full payment to reserve, shows over $ 100 require $ 75 per person to reserve Balance is due 60 days prior to the trip and is Non-refundable unless your ticket is resold Overnight motorcoach trips: $ 75 per person deposit to reserve space. Balance is due 45 days prior to departure. Payments are refundable up to 30 days prior to departure. Overnight motorcoach trips with ticketed events (theatre, show or ballgame): A $ 100 per person, non-refundable deposit is required to reserve. Balance is due 60 days prior to the trip Deposit will be refunded if your ticket is resold, and the balance is refundable up to 31 days prior to departure For longer overnight trips & cruises, and trips including airfare – please check the individual fliers for deposit and cancellation policies TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE is available for all trips. For daytrips, insurance is $7 per person for all trips that do not involve theater. Theater daytrip’s insurance cost is $14 per person. All multi -day trip insurance costs are dependent on the cost of the trip and your age. Please call us for more information. Walking Guide - We have included a walking guide, which you’ll find at the end of each tour description: A trip with minimal walking A trip that includes moderate walking at your own pace A trip that includes extended periods of walking or guided walking tours. On some tours, you may be able to omit portions of the tour that are too physical for you. As always, if you have any questions about the tour, don’t hesitate to call. Trips with this icon are shorter in length - 8 hours or less from the bridge (9 hours or less from Dennis) Customary end-of-tour gratuities are included for the driver, escort and local tour guide (when a step-on guide is hired), wait staff, and baggage handlers. Gratuities for hotel housekeeping staff are not included unless otherwise noted on your itinerary, and a basic gratuity of $ 2-3 per person, per day is customary Pickup locations: Our Hyannis pickup is at the commuter lot behind Burger King at exit 6 off Route 6. This is NOT the Burger King parking lot, as they will tow any vehicles left there for an extended time. Park in the commuter lot and wait at the enclosures for the bus – please be sure that you are parked in a legal parking spot – if you are on the grass or outside of the marked parking spots, you will be issued a parking citation. The police patrol this lot and will ticket/tow any car that is parked illegally. As always, parking is at your own risk at any of our pickup locations. 1. Patriots Square, Route 134, Dennis 2. Barnstable Commuter lot, Route 132, Hyannis – if you find that there are no remaining legal parking places, please proceed to either Sagamore or Dennis (if you have time) to meet the bus – do NOT go to the Hyannis Transportation Center 3. Sagamore Commuter lot, at the foot of the Sagamore Bridge Your requested pickup location will be printed on your sales receipt or invoice. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the departure time and call the office if you decide to change to a different pickup locatio n. Assigned Seating - In the interest of fairness to those boarding in Hyannis & Sagamore as well as our handicapped passengers, we assign seats on the bus, as they do on the airlines, on a first come, first served basis. If you are traveling with friends and signing up separately, be sure to let us know who you are traveling with so that we can seat you next to each other. Single travelers will be given their own seats if space allows or may be seated with another single traveler. Office Hours - The office is open Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. If you get our voicemail when you call, please leave a message and we will return your call – most times we are in the office but simply on the other line helping another customer.

Click the button to subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter, where you can get monthly email updates including new trips that have been added, travel tips and more. Signing up for a trip is easy – simply call us with your name, phone number, number of seats needed, and pick-up location. The person that made the reservation will receive an invoice 6-7 weeks prior to the trip with departure times and any balance due listed. If you are mailing in a payment, please keep the lower portion for your records, as your pickup time & location are printed on the invoice. For an overnight trip, you will receive a mailing with your itinerary and luggage tags approximately 30 days prior to your trip. Senior Center Signups - If you sign up through a Senior Center, please send your payment to the Senior Center, and they will forward it to us. You will not receive an invoice from us for the trip - your Senior Center will contact you for payment and inform you of departure times. For overnight trips, you will receive your itinerary and bag tags about 30 days prior to the trip. 5 JULY USS Constitution Turn Around Cruise, Monday, July 4 - The USS Constitution is ready to salute the nation with her annual Turn Around Cruise! “Old Ironsides” is the oldest Commissioned warship afloat in the world. This annual sail takes place so that the Constitution’s sides weather evenly while she is at dock and greeting tourists the rest of the year. We will sail alongside the Constitution on our elegant yacht with Boston Odyssey and be treated to narration about this historic ship as you watch the USS Constitution’s voyage on Boston Harbor from the water. The USS Constitution will travel to Castle Island in South Boston, where she fires a 21-gun salute to the nation before returning to her berth in Charlestown. Enjoy entertainment on board and a delicious three course lunch $150 Summer in the City, Monday, July 11 – Come with us as we explore some of the must-see sights of summertime in Boston! Begin the day at the beautiful Boston Public Gardens where we will be treated to a 60-minute walking tour with one of the park’s knowledgeable docents. Learn about the history, sculpture, and horticulture of America’s first public botanical garden on our tour through this treasured oasis. You will have some free time after the tour to stroll the grounds on your own. Then we are off to historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace where you will have time to grab lunch on your own at one of the many eateries or restaurants, do some light shopping or enjoy watching the many summertime street performers. We’ll spend the afternoon relaxing on the Charles River on a 70-minute, fully narrated sightseeing cruise. The Canadian Maritimes & the Cabot Trail, Wed, July 13 – Fri, July 22 – DAY 1 – Travel to Saint John, NB Canada and overnight at the Chateau St John. DAY 2 – We’ll travel along the shores of the Bay of Fundy to Hopewell Rocks, where we will see the flowerpot rocks. We’ll enjoy an included lunch, and our guide will tell us about the area and what causes the extreme tide changes in the Bay of Fundy. Then, travel to Prince Edward Island over the Confederation Bridge. We’ll overnight in downtown Charlottetown at the Hotel on Pownal and end the day with a PEI Lobster Supper at Fisherman’s Wharf (B,L,D) DAY 3 - Our guide will take us on a tour of Charlottetown, and travel through the countryside to Cavendish, where we will stop at the House of Green Gables. We’ll also travel through Prince Edward Island National Park to see the red sand beaches. (B) DAY 4 - We’ll take the ferry from Prince Edward Island to Nova Scotia, and on to Cape Breton Island. We’ll stop at the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, an exhibit complex describing the fascinating life and work of Alexander Graham Bell. Then we’ll walk into their intimate theatre for the comedy show “Murder at the Howard Johnson’s.” Is all fair in love? Even murder? That's the question posed by this light and funny suspense comedy about a love triangle in a Howard Johnson Motor Inn. The play presents a love triangle involving a woman, her lover, and her husband in three scenes. In the first scene, the wife and her lover plot to murder the husband. In the second scene, the wife and her husband are plotting to murder the lover. The third scene has the husband and the lover plotting to murder the wife, but this attempt, like the others, fails. After the show, enjoy a hilarious cabaret show! Two fun filled shows and a delicious LOBSTERFEST lunch make for the perfect day out! $150 Salem by Sea, Thursday, July 21 - Start our adventure on the water as we take the fast ferry service to Salem. Soak in the summer sun or relax on the covered deck as our ferry journeys from Boston to Salem. Once we arrive in Salem, stroll Essex Street - browse the shops, take in the seaside sights, and enjoy lunch on your own at the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall. We’ll
7 celebrate over 350 years of history at the House of the Seven Gables! The beautiful mansion, built in 1668 by a wealthy sea captain, is located at the foot of Salem Harbor and is best known as the inspiration behind Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The House of the Seven Gables”. Enjoy a tour of this lovely, historic home, stroll the beautiful Colonial Revival seaside gardens, and tour the neighboring Nathaniel Hawthorne Birthplace, a beautiful red Georgian style home circa 1750. Due to the historic nature of these homes, there are some stairs involved. Return to the Cape by motorcoach. $119 “1776 the Musical” at American Repertory Theater, Saturday, July 23 - They knew they would make history, but not what history would make of them. Fed up with living under the tyranny of British rule, John Adams attempts to persuade his fellow members of the Continental Congress to vote in favor of American Independence and sign the Declaration. But how much is he willing to compromise in the pursuit of freedom? And who does that freedom belong to? “1776 the Musical" originally debuted on Broadway in 1969 where it won three Tonys including Best Musical and became a major motion picture in 1972. Now Jeffrey L. Page and A.R.T’s Terrie and Bradley Bloom along with Artistic Director Diane Paulus direct a new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, reexamining this pivotal moment in American history with a cast that reflects multiple representations of race, gender, and ethnicity. Be among the first to enjoy this reimagined production. Following its pre- Broadway run at A.R.T., 1776 will play at Roundabout Theatre Company in NYC in fall 2022 and begin a national tour in 2023. 8 Gloucester’s Schooner Lannon, Tuesday, July 26 – Start our Cape Ann adventure in picture perfect downtown Rockport for shopping & lunch on your own, and to see the scenery that has inspired many painters. Just off Main St, you’ll find eclectic Bearskin Neck, home to dozens of one-of-a-kind shops, artist’s galleries & restaurants. Find handcrafted jewelry, fashionable clothing, locally made crafts, specialty household items, imported gifts, scrumptious chocolates and so much more! In the afternoon relax aboard a 1 ½ hour sail on the Schooner Lannon to get a taste for what it was like to sail on a fishing schooner a hundred years ago. Help the crew raise the sails, or just sit back & relax on the deck of this beautiful 65-foot schooner as she sails out of Gloucester harbor. Some of the sights we will see in the harbor area are Ten Pound Island and lighthouse, Watch House Point Fort, Hammond Castle, and Eastern Point Light. We’ll make a photo stop at the iconic Gloucester Fisherman's & Fishermen's Wives Memorials, located on Gloucester Harbor, which pay tribute to the over 10,000 Gloucester fishermen lost at sea and the families they left behind. $113 “A Beautiful Noise: the Neil Diamond Musical”, Wednesday, July 27 - The story of the legendary Neil Diamond comes to life on stage in a gripping and uplifting new musical featuring his hit songs “Sweet Caroline,” “America,” and “Cracklin’ Rosie.” Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer (Spring Awakening, Hedwig and the Angry Inch), choreographed by Olivier Award winner Steven Hoggett (Once, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), and written by four-time Academy Award nominee Anthony McCarten (Bohemian Rhapsody, The Two Popes), “A Beautiful Noise” debuts in Boston before heading to Broadway, and Tony Award nominee Will Swenson will lead the cast as Neil Diamond. Good times never seemed so good!
