For the 8th year running, Wicklow artists are working WICKLOW CULTURE NIGHT 2017 hard across the county to put on an excellent Culture Night – filled with events that are free for you, your family and friends. September 22nd marks a country- wide celebration of our culture and our communities, and we hope that you make the most of what is on offer in Wicklow County. We would like to thank all the artists and organisers for their enthusiasm, hard work, and their wonderful expression of cultural spirit. The novel is built around the two central characters, Sammy and Nico, one from Dublin and the other from Moldova, whose lives collide in this treacherous world. Lorna Breen (Soprano) and the Avondale Voices Community Choir return to the Dominican Chapel to host another Song Enchanted Evening following last year’s highly successful concert. They are joined by special guests Matthew Wylie (Classical Violinist) and Shira Brady (Contralto) performing in the beautiful ambiance of the Chapel with its noted acoustics and stunning visual appeal. They will each be accompanied on piano by Adam McDonagh in a popular mix of easy listening and classical favourites.
