Our Parish in Pictures OLA Women’s Ministry OLA Women’s Ministry is currently at the midway point of our Endow study on St. Edith Stein - a Jewish woman philosopher who lived in the early 1900’s, converted to Catholicism, entered the cloister of the Carmelite order as St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, and eventually died during the Holocaust. Her strong faith and unwavering commitment to surrendering everything to Christ, made her a beacon of light in a dark time. Quotes from a few participants: “Great discussion questions and faith sharing amongst the small table groups makes our weekly gatherings an evening of intimate fellowship”. “This chapter tonight really spoke to me...I can relate the issues in Edith Stein’s story to my own personal struggles now”. Look for upcoming Women’s Ministry events in our bulletin and on our website.
