For the upcoming 2020 fiscal year, five candidates applied to run for the five Membership 561-498-0707
open seats in the annual Board of Governors election. These five candidates, Reservations 561-498-4003
all incumbents, were: Deborah Benson, Barbara Berkowitz, Harvey Fogel, Security 561-921-9999
Judy Hotz, and Steve Wolk. Pursuant to Florida Statute 720.306 9(a), an Spa 561-860-8711
election is not required unless more candidates are nominated than Tennis Shop 561-499-0211

Our most valuable asset at Gleneagles is the wonderful team of employees
that create magical moments for the membership and their guests each and 2nd VICE PRESIDENT
every day. In December, Gleneagles hosts an annual Holiday Party for all of Daniel Kolber
our employees at the Clubhouse, with a full buffet dinner, cocktails, music TREASURER
and dancing. The staff looks forward to this party every year, and dresses up Michael Kartz
in their holiday best. The club provides raffle prizes and awards based upon ASSISTANT TREASURER
years of service. This year, there were 2 employees that reached 30 years of Harvey Fogel
service to Gleneagles, and countless other employees that received 25, 20,

15, and 10 years of service. On behalf of the entire staff, thank you to the

The Holidays were a huge success again this year even though the weather did
not fully cooperate. After our fun-filled New Years Eve parties in the Grille Room
and the Legends Dining Room, we ended with our New Year’s day Champagne
Brunch where the Chef outdid himself once again, and the Bloody Mary station
was a big hit. reservations
The season is going by at a rapid pace, with Passover not that many weeks away,

February is upon us and hopefully continues
to bring some cooler temperatures. We are still
continuing our wonderful winter season here
at Gleneagles Country Club and I would like
to extend a special thank you to the Social and
Bridge Committees for being such an integral
part of this Department’s success. Earlier this
year, we had an extremely strong turnout for our
Recital Series with the Yale Alley Cats as well as
our Intermediate/Advance Bridge Lessons with
Keith Hanson. Over 45 of our members and a few
of their friends had an amazing trip to Wynwood
Walls and the Museum of Graffiti and 120 men
and women participated in our Interclub Singles
Flocktail Party.
One of the highlights this February is our Dinner
Show featuring comedian Adam Ferrara and
vocalists NYC3 on Thursday, February 6. If you
were not able to participate in this affair, there
is plenty of time to hand in your Lottery form CANCELED
