A New Perspective It’s easy to bid farewell to 2020 and not turn back. Maybe it’s too early, but I feel it’s important to reflect on this dumpster-fire of a year and to take heart the lessons learned as we look forward to a fresh year. Myself, I am truly amazed how much I’ve taken for granted. The list is long, but living through the pandemic has made me appreciate all the things that were taken away. I know you’ll agree, we are restless to get back to our world pre-outbreak, and I know I’ll welcome it with a renewed outlook and gratitude. That said, we are not out of the woods yet, and this will be a challenging winter/spring. We need to stay vigilant to keep our family, friends and community safe. Just as important, is for you to keep active mentally and physically. Of course, Big Foot Rec is a great source for fun and enriching programs – and we have many fresh activities to keep you busy. This is the perfect time to try something new, and you don’t need to look further than these pages. Be well, and I hope to see you at the next program, Celebrations!
