1/2 small onion (chopped) substitute fresh mozzarella) cut into bite-size pieces
1 cup tomatoes (diced) OR 8 oz. canned, 1/4 cup coarsely chopped, or, torn basil OR 1 tsp.
     no-salt-added, diced tomatoes dried basil

Preheat oven to 350° F. Cut spaghetti squash in half. On a baking sheet coated with cooking spray, place halves
of squash face down and bake for 1 hour or until tender. Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add
garlic and onion and cook until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Add diced tomatoes, pepper, herbs and red pepper flakes.
Cook until liquid is evaporated, about 2-3 minutes. Add tomato sauce and reduce heat to medium-low and simmer
for 10 minutes. Let squash sit at room temperature until just cool enough to handle. Take a fork and scrap flesh
from outside working in, creating “spaghetti noodles”. Add squash “noodles” to sauce and remove from heat. Toss
with mozzarella balls and fresh basil and serve.

        KICK-OFF
         PARTY

Fulda held their 2019 VIP Kick-Off on Wednesday, January 23rd at the Fulda City Hall. Once again we had a great
group that attended. As Linda was giving some details about the events that have been planned, many were busy jotting
down the dates in their VIP Pocket Calendars. We have kept some of our annual events that we hold here in Fulda such
as our March Soup Tasting and the Anniversary Party. More plays were added (as requested) this year as well as our an-
nual Mystery Trip and other trips. After the presentation, there was a choice of cherry, peach or apple crisp and ice cream.
Thanks to all of you who braved the cold weather to join us! We had a great time and enjoyed visiting with everyone. For
those who could not make the kick-off, look for our list of events in your next branch newsletter.

   SOUP TASTING

Fulda will again be hosting our annual SOUP TASTING
event on THURSDAY, MARCH 14TH at the Fulda Senior
Center. We will begin serving at 5:00 and will serve until
gone. This is a great time to come and enjoy several dif-
ferent soups as well as cheese and crackers while visiting
with your neighbors. Please give Linda a call at the Bank
(507-425-2575) so we know how many to plan for.

                                        DRESS DOWN FRIDAYS

If you have been in the bank on any Friday, you may have noticed
that the employees are wearing jeans and a shirt with the bank
logo. Each of us pays $1.00 for the privilege to “dress down” on
these days. On an annual basis the funds from the account are
dispersed to different charities. This past year we gave to the
American Cancer Society, the Murray County Christmas Project, the
Salvation Army, the Fulda Public Library, Hospice of Murray County
and more. It’s our small way of helping...

Hi, that’s me, Carla on the left and my sidekick Donna on the right! We are happy to
announce that we will be your new VIP Coordinators for the Spring Valley and LeRoy
offices. We might look familiar, as I have been with First National Bank for a little over
19 years and Donna has been with First National for 17 ½ years. Both of us are at the
Spring Valley office, with an occasional work day in LeRoy. We are looking forward to
our new positions, and hope to get to know our LeRoy Very Important Partners (VIP)
as well as getting to know more about our Spring Valley VIP gang.
