Friday, June 10th is our third annual No Place for Hate® Day celebration where we acknowledge the hard work of schools who have been designated No Place For Hate ! We’re encouraging our No Place for Hate schools, students, and educators to share their stories on social media. We'll be highlighting these stories through our social channels all day! Please join us by sharing, re-tweeting and acknowledging the difference they're making by taking over social media with #noplaceforhate. NATIONAL UPDATES & RESOURCES Remembering the Lives Lost in Uvalde, TX ADL was devastated by the tragic shooting of 19 children and 2 teachers in Uvalde, TX in the deadliest school shooting since the horrific event at Sandy Hook Elementary in 2012. Stop Hate for Profit Coalition Calls on Tech Platforms to Deplatform Promoters of Great Replacement Theory Last week, ADL and the Stop Hate for Profit coalition called on social media companies to enforce their own hate speech policies and deplatform Tucker Carlson and other repeat promoters of the racist “Great Replacement” theory. Regional Director Scott Richman joined CNN’s Jim Sciutto and Bakari Sellers to discuss the deadly dangers of the misguided Great Replacement Theory that the Buffalo shooter avowed. Now, more must be done to push back against this racist and antisemitic theory.
