COMMITMENT TO E.A.S.D. ATHLETIC
                               TEAM
          •   we often must make cuts to rosters (size, uniforms,
              etc.

          • therefore, athletes are not permitted to leave an
              E.A.S.D. team early for travel teams, tournament
              teams, family vacations, etc. until E.A.S.D. season is
              fully completed (includes playoff games, equipment
              collection dates, etc.

          • same above applies to attending E.A.S.D. Physical
              Exam dates, ImPACT Testing dates, etc

• (H.S.) Lower Parking Lot (Tennis Court area) concerns – NO
   athletes permitted to park; discuss at parent/player meeting;
   buses not departing on time due to parent traffic

• Standardized Testing (encourage athletes to do well =
   leaders).

• Home/Charter/Cyber School participation – notify me of
   your status (FORM to complete)

• Substance Use/Abuse Policy – mentioned in athlete sign-up
   packet, on EASD website, read/know it. There are many
   programs and initiatives being organized to inform and
   educate student-athletes on this topic. Parents, coaches,
   and the community must support these programs for the
   wellbeing of our kids.

    1. ALL equipment is numbered/lettered, issued
     through and collected by Equipment Managers
     for tracking purposes (DO NOT RETURN IT
     TO GRADE LEVEL OFFICES)
    2. Failure to return = hold report cards, letters
     home, financial obligation, ineligibility for next
     athletic season, hold any awards earned, legal
     action by local magistrate
    3. Common problems: exchanging equipment
     with others on team, numbers will not match
     the issued equipment = someone pays for
     equipment

Transportation – must ride school district
  transportation unless an “emergency” requires
  alternate transportation. An “Alternate Transportation”
  form must be completed at least one day prior to event
