Cooperation Agreement with the Netherlands • Governments of Qatar and the Netherlands signed an agreement for cooperation as host countries of two consecutive A1 International Horticultural Exhibitions. FEB 2018 MEETING BETWEEN MINISTRIES IN THE NETHERLANDS
Kick-off meeting was held on 9 August 2018, with the participation of the Minister of Environment and Municipality and BIE Secretary General. Preparations for BIE registration process was discussed in the meeting.
The goal is to encourage, inspire and inform people about innovative solutions for reducing desertification and establishing a sustainable environment. EXPO 2021 Doha believes that achieving successful results requires international cooperation around the same goal and key strategic solutions.
TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION: Will be the operator of future green solutions while playing an important role in changing direction in the use of fossil fuels, creating solutions for urban industrial pollution and advancing alternatives for chemical-intensive agriculture.
MODERN AGRICULTURE: provides new innovations, research and scientific advancements to produce safe, sustainable and affordable food for the increasing population of the world.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS Is a tool for encouraging the protection of natural resources, raising a sense of connection to the natural world and promoting sustainable development.
SUSTAINABILITY: Is humans’ common objective for balancing different needs along with the awareness about economy, technology, environment and social sciences.

The Site is in a PROJECT LOCATION strategic location which is: - 15 Minutes away from the West BayArea - 20Minutes away from Doha Port - 20-25 minutes away from Hamad International Airport
The site is well connected CONNECTIVITY and surrounded by 3 major roads: - Al Rayyan Road - Jawaan Street - Al Amir Street The site is highly accessible by public transportation with the Green line and the Gold line passing through.
Connectivity& Accessibility The site is accessible via four main streets - Al Rayyan Road - Jawaan Street - Al Amir Street - Al Saad Street It is also well connected to public transport with the green line and gold line passing through the site.
