FAQ LIFT TICKETS How do I get my group discounted lift tickets for the Summer / Fall season? To qualify for group rates, all reservations must be made for a minimum of 15 same-day guests. What information will you need from me or my guests to issue a ticket this season? Each ticket must be associated with an individual guest for contact tracing purposes. Leaders will need to provide individual guest information to their sales representative so that individual profiles can be attached to each guest’s physical ticket. To make this process as easy as possible, a form will be given to group leaders to share with their members. We recommend setting the group’s internal deadline for profile submission as early as possible so a master list can be shared with your sales rep. What days will my group have access to discounted lift tickets this summer and fall? Group rates are applicable based on availability 10am- 4pm, Thursday-Sunday, June 26th- September 5th and Saturday & Sunday September 11th - October 10th. Please note hours and dates of operation are subject to change. Can my group visit the mountain outside those dates? Absolutely! Private facility rentals are available outside of standard operational hours. Ask your sales representative for more information on availability and how you can host an exclusive Gore Mountain adventure. Can I get a free lift ticket? Yes! A group that exceeds the required minimum of 15 same-day guests will receive a complimentary lift ticket for the group leader, or planner, valid for the date(s) of the group reservation. Can I save my free ticket for later? No. The complimentary lift ticket is only valid for the date(s) of the group reservation. How long do the skyrides take? Skyrides are approximately 20 minutes round trip. Summer / Fall Groups 2021
FAQ GROUP LEADER PLANNING What time can my group arrive at the mountain? We open at 10am. Group arrival times must be coordinated and confirmed with your sales representative in advance of your visit to avoid overcrowding. Will there be parking for buses? School and camp bus arrivals and drop offs must be approved on an individual basis for the 2021 summer/fall season. Please work with your sales representative prior to your visit. Where do I pick up my lift ticket order? Ticket pickup time and location must be coordinated with your sales representative. We’ll make it easy- we can meet you outside if that works best! Can my group members pick up their tickets individually? No, group leaders must coordinate a single ticket pickup with their sales representative and are responsible for further distribution of lift tickets. Are food vouchers available for groups? Yes, food vouchers will be available in your chosen denomination, and must be coordinated in advance. These vouchers allow your group to disperse into smaller pods to avoid overcrowded meal times. Are there other food & beverage options available to my group? Yes! A boxed lunch option can be arranged so your group may enjoy a bite to eat on the go. Any other important day-of information I should know? Yes, we encourage guests to come dressed and ready for the occasion. This includes but is not limited to bringing items such as sunblock, proper footwear (closed-toe shoes are highly recommended), moisture-wicking clothing, a day pack and plenty of fresh water. Also, don’t forget any important medications you may need. Ticks are prevalent across the Adirondacks. It’s important to check your skin and clothing after spending any time outdoors. Insect repellent and clothing such as long sleeves and long pants can help in preventing tick bites. Summer / Fall Groups 2021
