elcome to the 2021 Art of the Cowgirl Elite Horse
& Select Prospect Sale. In a year that has thrown
us many twists and turns, the one thing we can still
count on is great horsewomen making great horses!
We are incredibly proud of this set of horses. We structured
things a little different this year, by separating the Elite Sale
Horses and Select Prospects. The ONLY difference in the horses
is that the Elite Sale Horses are older with a certain level of
experience, while the Select Prospects are made up of 3-and-4-
year-olds that can go in any direction. All horses being offered
have real-life experience and are safe for a variety of riders.
We spent a lot of time going through horses to narrow it down for
this small sale. We had hundreds of applicants and all of them were
amazing. What we wanted for the Elite Sale are experienced horses that
ranch experience, or both! There are high-number rope horses, title-winning,
importantly, there are years of time and effort put into these horses by some of the
most talented horsewomen in the country.
Art of the Cowgirl wants to show our appreciation and gratitude to all of our consignors
and their families. We have many repeat consignors that we are so grateful to have
developed such special relationships with over the past three years, and new faces that we
feel truly honored that they’ve put their trust in our event and this sale.
Thank you to the entire Art of the Cowgirl crew: Jaimie and Sierra, none of
this would be possible without the countless hours you both put into this.
Keeping up with the Pates and our crazy ideas is something worthy of
