Graduations

Bobbi and Gabe Weinstein announce the graduation of
their daughter, Rachel Weinstein Sweeney, from the Uni-
versity of Virginia with a PhD in Education.
Rickie and Lew Masters announce the graduation of their
grandson, Jackson Kyle Masters, from Commack High
School.
Wendy and Ed Isaac announce the graduation of their
son, Sam Isaac, from San Diego State University with an
MBA in Marketing/Sports Marketing.
Irma Silverman announces the graduations of her grand-
children, Samara Silverman, Zachary Silverman and
Lindsay Silverman. Samara graduated from Ward Mel-
ville High School and will attend Cornell as a National
Merit Finalist and Scholar. Zachary graduated from
Murphy Junior High School and will attend Ward Mel-
ville High School. Lindsay graduated from Ohio State and
will be going to Brooklyn Law School.
Vivian Gold announces the graduation of her grandson,
Daniel Meinster, from the University of South Carolina
Honors College with a BS in Finance. He will be attending
the University of Miami School of Law.
Edward and Sharon Levitt announce the graduations of
their grandsons, Jordan Anderson and Brett Anderson.
Jordan graduated from Ohio State University and Brett
graduated from Commack High School.
Terri and Joel Ackerman announce the graduation of
their son, Jason Gross from MIT with a PhD in Computer
Science. Their daughter, Rachel Gross, began medical
school at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Viviane and Stuart Koenig, announce the graduation of
their grandson, Gabriel Sternberg from Poolesville High
School. He will be attending the University of Maryland-
Baltimore studying computer science.

Frederick and Deborah Novomestky announce the
graduations of their grandchildren, Matthew Fernandez
and Alexander Lubman from Wantagh High School.

Mimi and Bob Spitz announce the graduation of their
granddaughter, Brittany Spitz, daughter of Larry and Risa
Spitz, from St. Joseph’s with a Master of Arts degree in
Adolescent Special Education.

Rochelle and Aarron Gull announce the graduation of their
son, Marc Gull, grandson of Phillip Dickter, from SUNY
Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.
He will be attending the University of Buffalo Law School.

Lori and Jeff Maldavir announce the graduation of their
son, Jack Maldavir, from Northport High School.

Rabbi Ian Silverman and Beth Schlesinger announce the
graduation of their son, Alan Silverman from Drexel
University with an MS in Counseling and Art Therapy.

Gail and Stan Wolfson announce the graduation of their
grandson, Benjamin Wolfson from the University of
Michigan.

Marlene and Edward Mermelstein announce the
graduations of their grandchildren, Joshua Pincus, Jacob
Pincus and Noah Pincus. Joshua graduated from Half
Hollow Hills West High School. Jacob graduated from the
Rochester Institute of Technology with a major in
Mechanical Engineering. Noah graduated from Ithaca
College with a major in Political Science/Journalism.

their granddaughter, Sara Michaels, from Wharton
University, Pennsylvania.

Marcie and Harvey Schechter announce the graduation of
their grandson, Harrison Heftler from John Jay High
School. Harrison will be attending SUNY Fredonia.

Lisa and Bryan Tropper announce the graduations of their
sons, Jason Tropper and Danny Tropper. Jason graduated
from Stony Brook University with a BS in Political Science.
Danny graduated from the University of Delaware with a
MBA in Business Administration.

Donna and Allan Berman announce the graduations of
their daughters, Mikayla and Lara Berman. Mikayla
graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Chemical
Engineering and is working for Proctor & Gamble in West
Virginia. Lara graduated from Suffolk Community College
with an AA in Liberal Arts and is continuing on to Molloy
College to study Speech and Language Pathology.

Marilyn and Larry Hofstein announce the graduations of
their grandchildren. Jonathan Reisman graduated from
Case Western Reserve, Ilana Amselem graduated from
George Washington University, Sara Amselem is going to
New York University, Ethan Minikes graduated high
school and is attending the University of Vermont, Jeremy
Minikes graduated high school and is attending Drexel
University.

Miriam and Stanley (“zl) Oringer announce the graduation
of their grandson, Ryan Jacob Slutzky, son of Elyssa
Oringer Slutzky, from Nassau Community College and is
employed by Aspen Capital in the field of Computer
Technology.

Deborah and Jay Siegall announce the graduation of their
son, Kevin Siegall from Half Hollow Hills High School
West.

their son, Andrew Wasserman to Jessica Meisel, daughter
of Seth and Diane Meisel on May 1, 2021.

Sanford and Gail Forrester announce the engagement of
their granddaughter, Samantha Forrester, daughter of
Kevin and Allison Forrester, to Justin Harrison, son of
Marj and Rob Harrison on October 10, 2020.

Meryl and Frank Brecher announce the engagement of
their son, Danny Brecher, to Alex Reis, daughter of Paula
and Bill Reis on October 11, 2020.

Beate and Leonard Michaels announce the engagement of
their granddaughter, Jessica Michaels.

Sharon and Shawn Oliveira announce the engagement of
their son, Spencer Oliveira, to Carissa McDermott on
December 20, 2020. They plan to wed in June 2022.

Joyce and Lenny Graber announce that their grand-
daughter, Madison Graifman, has been accepted to
Wayne State Medical School. Their granddaughter
Gillian Graifman is in her second year at NY Medical
College in Westchester.

Larry and Marilyn Hofstein announce the Bat Mitzvah
of their granddaughter, Layla Derzie on June 5, 2021.
Layla also graduated middle school and is attending High
School .

grandson, Harrison Lane Slutzky, son of Elyssa Oringer
Slutzky, after one year at Wharton, is employed by
Moells & Co., a financial banking firm in Manhattan.
