2016 was certainly a year to
remember with all the many
changes in the company and then
NDIS coming on line for many
people. Clubmates had a fun year
with lots of group holidays and
more individual holidays than
ever before.

Sunshine Holidays is now part of the ClubMates Travel group with the acquisition taking
place mid-2016, and so we can offer our QLD passengers some really exciting southern
holidays to get out of the heat and for all of our southern passengers there is many more
warm climate holidays in this brochure.
NDIS
Now that the NDIS has been around for a while we are better prepared to assist with accessing the
funding but as with all new systems there are challenges along the way so patience and the ability to
work outside the normal constraints seems to be very important at this stage.
Website
We updated our website with a new look and feel so that it can keep improving the user experience
and hopefully it gets easier each time. I would love to hear your opinion on the updates and if we have
achieved our goal of making it easier for you.
Social Media
For those of you that are a bit nervous about using social media we would encourage you to give it a
go as it’s a wonderful way of keeping in touch with the group on holidays. We have introduced to our on
tour staff the idea of #’s which will make the holiday a very open book system where the people back
home can view daily the fun we are all having on holiday.
You Tube
We are still getting the word out about our You Tube channel and have been getting some awesome
feedback. Families and friends like the ability to view the holiday at any time with a simple click of a
button!! It’s easy to search for your holiday long after it’s been loaded by simply typing the tour code or
the destination into the search field.
Facebook
With over 8000 likes we are really excited to share the many posts we find all over the globe with
you. We are now moving into #’s so that we can interact even more with you when away on holidays.
By using the # everyone can see where you are and what you are doing instantaneously.
Pinterest
Pinterest is growing all the time in popularity and it has some of the most amazing colourful and
inspiring photos of our holidays, so it’s well worth a look.
