POSITIVE BEHAVIORAL PBIS INTERVENTIONS & SUPPORTS Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an implementation framework for maximizing the selection and use of evidence-based prevention and intervention practices to support the academic, social emotional and behavioral competence of all students. The program provides district a tiered continuum to provide prevention and intervention spanning from the entire student body to targeted supports for students. HB 318 requires each district to implement a PBIS framework for all schools in the district and provide professional development (schools with PreK-3 students) or continuing education by November 2021.
