CANYON HEIGHTS ADULT LEARNING CENTER 5 2 5 E a s t 3 0 0 S ou t h K ays v i l le , U T HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA AND GED PREP CLASSES FOR 10th – 12th GR ADE STUDENTS Orientation is mandatory for new students. An in-person orientation is required for all 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. Orientation dates are listed below. Late-comers will need to attend the next orientation date. Plan on staying for the full 45-minute presentation. Students must be at least 16 years old to be eligible for adult education programs. As per Davis School District and Gov. Herbert guidelines, all visitors/future students that attend orientation or registration will be required to wear a mask. Do not bring friends, siblings, children, etc. to the presentation so that physical distancing can be maintained as much as possible. After signing in, the orientation will be held in the librar y. We are excited to announce a NEW GED prep class for ages 18+ on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:00 – 8:00p.m. This is a great way to fast-track your way to a GED diploma using updated soft ware and personalized instruction from a certified teacher. As per Davis School District and Gov. Herbert guidelines, all visitors/future students that attend orientation or registration will be required to wear a mask. All students must bring proof of Utah residency and tuition fee of $100 on the day of registration. ESOL CLASSES AT CANYON HEIGHTS Be on time and be prepared to stay 2 – 3 hours for registration and testing. All students must provide proof of Utah residency and $100 yearly fee which in- cludes books if due. Latecomers will be asked to attend the next available registration date. No child care provided. Registration for DAY classes: August 25, 26, or 27 @ 9a.m. October 2 or 23 @ 9a.m. December 18 @ 9a.m. Registration for NIGHT classes: August 31 or September 1 @ 6p.m. October 5 @ 6p.m. January 11 or 12 @ 6p.m. Online only classes are available for Intermediate and Advanced levels.
