                                                                                           What an awesome time you have
                                                                                           When you join 4-H
                                                                                           From all the projects you can
                                                                                           choose
                                                                                           It’s really quite the rage
                                                                                           With cooking, sewing, crafts and
                                                                                           more
                                                                                           There’s lots for you to learn
                                                                                           I really was on top of thngs
                                                                                           ‘Til my interests took a turn
                                                                                           ‘Twas animals of all sorts
                                                                                           Were next for me to try
                                                                                           Chickens, rabbits, dogs and more
                                                                                           And a calf that caught my eye
                                                                                           Now starting out things went well
                                                                                           As they all did grow
                                                                                           But soon it was that I found out
                                                                                           The calf’s growth wasn’t slow
                                                                                           Putting on the pounds each day
                                                                                           Was adding to his girth
                                                                                           I thought that if he keeps this up
