The UK Experience is centered on soccer, mainly training and competition, and complemented
with stadium tours, live EPL games of top English teams, stadium tours, city tours, and more.

MANCHESTER’S VILLAGE HOTEL Located just 20 minutes drive from the vibrant city of Manchester and 15 from the City Football Academy, the Village Hotel Manchester Ashton provides an extensive leisure club and stylish accommodation. The contemporary designed rooms boast an en-suite bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite and free WiFi. Guests also have access to the Velocity Health & Fitness Club with a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Take your pick from 3 excellent dining options at hotel. Guests can choose from the stylish Verve Grill Restaurant, great pub grub at The Public House and a Starbucks Café serving a wide range of coffees, cakes and light bites. MANCHESTER CITY F.C. THE NEW REFERENCE IN FOOTBALL Born in 1880, Manchester City FC has had its up and downs but it has now become one of the best clubs in modern football thanks to a new ownership and the long-term project led by Pep Guardiola. This project includes a strong development of the academy system and has already produced great talent such as Phil Foden, Brahim Diaz, Lukas Nmecha, and Tosin Adarabioyo who at a young age have already debuted with the first team.
CITY FOOTBALL ACADEMY Only a few players have the extraordinary opportunity to live soccer at such professional and renowned facilities. Players will train at the same fields where Kun Agüero, Gabriel Jesus, Kevin De Bruyne and their teammates practice every day, all with a view of the Etihad Stadium. Players will also have access to the locker rooms where they will change to the ManCity training kit and the restaurant area.

FRIENDLY MATCHES PLAY AGAINST LOCAL TEAMS Players will put in practice the concepts and skills learned during training and will measure their level against English opposition specifically selected to create a competitive game. Global Sports will arrange matches that will be played on natural or artificial turf of the highest quality and will be refereed by official referees.

ST. GEORGE’S PARK Home to England’s 24 national teams and the Football Association (FA), St. George’s Park provides the world-class training environment that your players deserve. You will have the opportunity to train at top pitches previously used by teams such as FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Manchester City, with licensed coaches of the FA.

LONDON
LONDON’S MILLENNIUM HOTEL Next to Chelsea Football Club, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club is 5 minutes’ walk from Fulham Broadway Underground Station. The 4-star hotel has 2 restaurants, a sports bar and club lounge. Modern rooms have luxurious fittings and large marble bathrooms. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, movies-on-demand and WiFi access. The tube and buses provide easy access to central London. South Kensington with its shops, Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum is a 25-minute walk away. And you can also opt to stay close to the hotel and get a tour of Stamford Bridge.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES GET TO KNOW MANCHESTER & LONDON Manchester and London are the most representative cities of the United Kingdom and some of the most emblematic in the world. In Manchester, you will find sights such as the National Football Museum, the John Rylands Library, and the Museum of Science and Industry. On the other side, London is well-known for Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, and many others.

We recommend you first check with your policy holder to see if they provide coverage in the United Kingdom. • Additionally, you might want to consider a travel insurance. FAQs Can family members join? Although it is not required, family members are more than welcome to join. In fact, besides playing on the field, parents can enjoy all events included in the package (stadium tours, EPL games, etc.). Many are the parents that attend the experience as the trip creates incredible memories that strengthen the bond with their kids. What is training like? All training sessions are 90-minutes long and conducted by highly qualified coaches of Manchester City and the FA (the English football federation). During the week, players will work on different aspects to give them a well-rounded understanding of the methodology, philosophy, and style of play of Man City and the FA. Where do training sessions take place? Training sessions will take place at the City Football Academy and St. George’s Park’s National Football Centre. Both are facilities of the highest quality and the same used by Manchester City Academy players and all the English national teams, respectively. How are the friendly games? Friendly games are all played against English opposition in top quality fields, usually artificial turf (3G). The format of the games is usually 2 halves of 30-minutes each to avoid players getting exhausted from an intense week of training, games, and activities. The games will be 9v9 or 11v11 depending on the age group. All players in the team will get the same amount of playing time. Do you provide full board? Yes, full board can be added to your tour for an extra $250 and can be requested by emailing us at uk2020@globalsportsint.com. However, when possible, we recommend players and families to not include this as it allows them for more freedom when selecting meals and will help explore more things outside of the itinerary.
FAQs Do I have to book my own flights? Yes. Each player or family is responsible to book their own flight. We will later ask for your flight information so we can arrange transfer from the airport to the hotel on the first day of the tour and vice-versa on the last day. Transfer will only be provided from Manchester International Airport (MAN) on Saturday 04/10/2019, and to London Heathrow (LHR) on Sunday 04/19/2019. We also recommend your flight to land in Manchester around early or mid-morning to avoid missing any activity on the first day. How does rooming work? Players, and family members if they join, are all staying at 4-star hotels conveniently located and with great amenities (gym, pool, sauna, restaurants, bars, etc.). Rooms are distributed according to the following: • Twin room (2 beds): 1 player and 1 family member. • Triple room (3 beds): 1 players and 2 family members, or 2 players and 1 family member. • 2 twin rooms: families of 4 members. What about rooming if my son travels by himself? In that case, your son is roomed with another the designated guardian/family. You should also provide the parent or guardian that will be responsible for your son or daughter with a notarized authorization. Can we add or cancel family members later on? You can do this until October 15th, 2019. To do so, please email us at uk2020@globalsportsint.com. Can you make arrangements if we arrive before or want to stay longer? Yes. Later we will ask for your flight information as well as the opportunity to book extra night either before or after the tour. This will help by being able to stay in the same room without the need to check out and back in. In this case, however, we will not be able to provide transportation from the airport to the hotel or vice-versa. Can we add or cancel family members later on? In the registration we only ask for the estimate number of family members traveling with the player. This helps us with the planning process. However, later we will ask for the final number as well as more information about all the travelers (full name, date of birth, passport number, allergies, etc.).
