Being Active (Merritt Civic Centre programs) Golf Fitness This 6-week golf specific fitness class will incorporate: a basic TPI screen (Titleist Performance Ins�tute) posture and flexibility for golf, golf specific movement pa�ern drills, core/back/hip and shoulder strength, proper warm-up and injury preven�on. This class is for all levels of golfers’ junior, amateur and pros. City Parks & Facilities City Parks Merri� is home to 7 City Parks, which are all open to the public, including the playgrounds on the parks. Centennial Park · Central Park · Fairly Park · Lions Memorial Park · N'Kwala Park · Voght Park · Rotary Park Family Activities Get out your soccer ball, pull out that frisbee or go catch your football with your kids or spouse. Relaxing Put together a picnic basket and grab a picnic blanket and bring a book or enjoy a good conversa�on. Get Active Bring those home workout rou�nes to the grassy outdoors, while breathing in our clean mountain air. Find your running shoes and hit the track on Voght Park. Youth Skate Park Wether you like to skate, blade, roll, flip or dive, the Youth Park is open to the public. Please make sure to follow the physical distancing guidelines. Rotary Bike Park You don’t need to look far to find some extreme mountain bike jumps in Merri�. The Rotary Bike Park, renovated in 2018, offers a wide variety of mountain bike thrill. Multi-Use Sports Box The Mul�-Use Sports Box is open. Please make sure to maintain physical distancing and bring your own equipment. Dog Park The dog park is open to the public.
