Guidelines As Of: 4/18/22 FOOD & WINE CLASSIC IN ASPEN COVID-19 PROTOCOLS Food & Wine is committed to the health and safety of all our guests, staff, volunteers and talent. Attendees’ safety and comfort will remain our top priority as we plan and prepare for the 2022 F&W Classic in Aspen. Event regulations, policies and protocols are under constant review, and will be continually updated and revised as circumstances require. Food & Wine’s parent company, Dotdash Meredith, is working with our in-house team to review and approve final guidelines and protocols. FOOD & WINE CLASSIC IN ASPEN Guidelines As Of: 4/18/22 COVID-19 PROTOCOLS GENERAL PROTOCOLS These policies apply to all attendees at the F&W Classic in Aspen, including all guests, sponsors, exhibitors, staff, volunteers, security, vendors, working personnel, etc. • Before entering the event area, all attendees will be asked to confirm that they have no symptoms of COVID-19 and show proof that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (the booster or primary series was administered at least 14 days before entry.) • Proof of vaccination options are vaccine card, a photo of a vaccine card, or an official state- issued vaccine passport, along with a valid photo ID. • After the acknowledgment and confirmation of the above (no symptoms and fully vaccinated), all attendees will be required to wear an event-issued wristband for access to event venues. Attendees will not be admitted into F&W Classic in Aspen without the health clearance wristband. • Masks will be optional, but recommended, for vaccinated guests. • Mask requirements during event operations will comply with official restaurant guidance and best practices. • Guest regulated social distancing as recommended. • At all times, the F&W Classic in Aspen will operate in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local law. • By entering any F&W Classic in Aspen event venue or area, all attendees agree to fully comply with all posted signage and event policies. • To request an accommodation due to disability, medical condition, or religion, please complete the request form here. Accommodation requests must be submitted on or before April 29, 2022. Requests submitted after April 29, 2022 will not be considered. Guidelines As Of: 4/18/22 FOOD & WINE CLASSIC IN ASPEN COVID-19 PROTOCOLS VENUES • Reduced capacities at events and venues – generally 75% of previously-allowed numbers—custom to each venue. • As many outdoor and/or outdoor rated event venues as possible, event wide. Target is more than 75% of events to be held in outdoor and/or outdoor rated venues. • Lower-risk, more widely spaced classroom and theatre-style seating at event venues where applicable. Guidelines As Of: 4/18/22 FOOD & WINE CLASSIC IN ASPEN COVID-19 PROTOCOLS OPERATIONS • Masks will be recommended for all event personnel, vendors, staff, crew and volunteers. • Sanitizing and disinfecting of surfaces, contact points, restrooms and guest areas. • Hand sanitizing products located throughout event venues with hand sanitizer that includes at least 60% alcohol. • Health safety rules, requirements, and guidelines will be posted in high-visibility locations throughout every venue. • Increased guest seating areas. • Increased physical spacing between all sponsor, exhibitor, restaurant/chef and partner activations at event venues. Reduced number of exhibitors in the same footprints as previous years. • To the extent allowed under applicable law and advisable under then-current applicable guidelines, all event personnel, vendors, staff, crew, and volunteers will adhere to all health and safety rules, requirements, and in-place event protocols. Guidelines As Of: 4/18/22 FOOD & WINE CLASSIC IN ASPEN COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOOD SERVICE • Gloves will be required for all service staff. Anyone serving food or drink at the event will be encouraged to wear a mask, including but not limited to volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, catering staff and chefs. • Frequent handwashing and/or hand sanitizing required. • Disposable utensils, food serving materials, vessels, beverage containers, and personal clean up products required. • No shared, family-style, buffet or large format food service displays. Guidelines As Of: 4/18/22 ASPEN & PITKIN COUNTY RESOURCES Pitkin County Public Health recommends following CDC Guidelines for travel to Aspen. The CDC provides information on how and where to get a COVID-19 vaccine at vaccines.gov. For information about local guidelines and recommendations, the Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA) has put together a Visitor Resource Guide for people planning to travel to Aspen. ACRA has compiled information regarding COVID-19 Community Resources for local Aspen residents or guests traveling to Aspen. Pitkin County Public Health is the government entity that is issuing all news releases, updates, and information on COVID-19 for the City of Aspen. The Pitkin County COVID-19 Testing Site Finder will help you find a local testing location.
