HERE IS HOW WE SAFE SPACES: I BELONG ARE KEEPING YOU SAFE HERE, STAYING ACTIVE Over the summer staff continue to plan how to welcome residents back into Saanich indoor and outdoor spaces. The safety of residents and staff is the top priority. The number of people will be controlled and monitored to maintain physical distancing. As such, all services, including Drop In, will be reservation only for the foreseeable future. This allows us to limit the number of people and keep records in case contact tracing is required. You can reserve your activities online at saanich.ca/recreation (see reservation page for more details in this guide) or by calling the centre. Saanich encourages residents to review the safety protocols for specific activities before registering. The recreation safety protocols were developed based on guidelines and requirements from the Provincial Health Officer, WorkSafe BC, Island Health, BC Recreation and Parks Association, and the Lifesaving Society of BC.
