Family Feud
Take a look at the set MGD designed and produced
for Blond Productions, and who won the pitch put
out by Rapid Blue in 2019. Broadcast on e.tv in 2020.
MGD took the existing brand, adapted it to fit the
brief, added new features and put our stamp on the
South African version. Thereafter MGD did technical
drawings, Dreamsets built the set, Blond Productions
added all technical and I think the pictures of the final
product speak for themselves.

MGD Were not only responsible for the studio sets
you see on television but the foyer, newsrooms,
digital hubs and executive offices . We helped create
the look from the ground up for Thokozani Nkosi and

Michael Gill
Born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, Michael studied
Architecture at the University of Port Elizabeth
graduating with a Bachelor of Building Arts degree.
He joined the South African Broadcasting Corporation
in 1985 as a Specialist Production Designer. During
this time at the national broadcasting corporation,
he was awarded two Artes Awards for excellence
in design.
His experience at the SABC put him in good stead for
the creation of his company Michael Gill Designs
in 1997.
Over the years, equality is a term that remains a
consistent factor in every project our award winning
company has undertaken.
