to the Bunker Hill Community College community and

Honors Graduates Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society
Gold tassels distinguish the caps of degree candidates The Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society is a chapter of
receiving their degrees with honors. These students, the the National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa. Degree
honors graduates of the class of 2022, have consistently candidates who are members of the Alpha Kappa Mu
demonstrated high academic achievement while Honor Society can be identified by the gold Phi Theta
attending the College. Honors graduates are denoted by Kappa stole worn over the regular academic gown. Alpha
a “*“ symbol in the program. Kappa Mu Honor Society graduates are denoted by a “º”
symbol in the program.
Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) used to identify
Honors graduates was based on the GPA prior to the Bunker Hill Community College
printing of the program and may not reflect final GPA. Commonwealth Honors Program
