Investment – Companies aiming to invest in the China market. This digital brochure is ideal to promote and highlight your capabilities, find new opportunities and increase your market knowledge. Why participate? Sales and marketing – Listing in the Department for International Trade’s CIIE 2020 digital brochure is free of charge and open to all qualifying businesses. This is an unmissable opportunity for you to enhance your brand, build B2B partnerships, boost B2B sales and drive marketing initiatives within the China market. Companies will have administrative access to their digital profile to update information, view analytics and track profile visits.
Access and participate in online activities – A series of activities will be held throughout November to promote trade and investment. Use this opportunity to connect with partners and discuss opportunities for cooperation. One-to-one business matchmaking opportunities – Through a smart navigator function provided in the digital brochure, your company will be accessible through search criteria including product type/keywords/sub-sector. Interested Chinese partners will then access your calendar within the digital brochure and schedule individual meetings to be held online. Receive news & updates - You may access your account to receive updated news related to CIIE and review your diary. How does it work and what you will need to do? First step is to register. Please prepare the requested information in the template, and send to us by Friday 21st August. DIT will arrange for you company profile to be uploaded. Once the digital brochure (mini-site) is launched on 31st August (tbc) it will be accessible via PC or mobile (WeChat). Companies can log-in to review and adjust their profile with the account details provided. A mock up picture of the mobile view of each company’s page is provided here for reference. The smart navigation function will enable a Chinese partner to search and identify you by keywords and/or sector. Provide your availability for one-to-one business matchmaking, and you will be able to conduct virtual meetings. A confirmation email will be generated to secure your meeting. Analytics on viewer traffic and number of meetings arranged/confirmed will be provided. Note: A Voov meeting ID is required for meetings. The digital brochure will be live throughout the autumn and after CIIE to maximise visibility and provide a virtual bridge to connect you with Chinese partners.

Please note the submission date is 21st August 2020. What is CIIE 2020? CIIE is China’s flagship import exhibition and is operated by the China Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) in collaboration with the leading national associations for each major trade sector. In 2019, CIIE exceeded 240,000m2 in floor space and attracted 150,000 professional visitors from 100+ countries, leading to $71.13bn of deals signed. A State-level leader from China is due to attend the first day of the exhibition to speak and tour key CIIE pavilions. The exhibition covers eight halls (several of which are duplex). The Food & Agricultural Products hall has increased to 2.5 halls this year due to demand. In previous CIIEs, this hall has hosted pavilions from leading F&A countries and sector associations including Australia, New Zealand & American Dairy. Top leading UK brands have also been represented including Weetabix, Twining’s, Chivas Brothers, Lakeland Dairies, Ahmad tea and Kendal Nutricare. UK Pavilion at CIIE DIT has secured a 300sqm multi-sector pavilion located in the Food and Agricultural Products hall. We will create a mixed-use space, co-operating with key trade associations and industry partners to create a best-in-class pavilion. It will showcase the UK as a leading trading partner in quality, sustainability and innovation. The stand will consist of individual company exhibitors, a bar/café and kitchen area, and space for networking, meetings and presentations.
