A Message from Craig…… Dear Members It is remit time, so if you want to see some changes in your Association it is time to put pen to paper and submit a remit for it to be discussed at the AGM. The AGM this year will be held on the Friday immediately before the National Finals at Waimiha. It is also time to think about your Council and whether you are interested in standing for a position on the Council. There are a number of current Councillors standing down and not seeking re- election so please don’t be shy and put your name forward. Christine, our Secretary, is also stepping down so her position too has to be filled. I am sure you would all like to join me in thanking Christine for her constant dedication to our sport. Thank you, Christine. Just a note to Show Committees and Judges about judging your family members. The rule regarding judging family members says that you can, but only under exceptional circum- stances. To avoid any unnecessary and unpleasant trouble in the future please adhere to the whole rule as it is written. It is good to see a new arena being bought into the show circuit this season. We will all look forward to competing in Melissa’s new arena and we thank you for making it available. The show season is already underway with a highly successful show held at Ladd’s arena. A great weekend with a great arena, superb cattle, wonderful hosts, good judging, and most importantly great company. Thank you to the Ladd family. Wishing everyone all the very best for the upcoming shows. Please just enjoy your horses.
